PS Exclusive Announced: Fate/Extella (PS4/Vita)

Too many exclusives on PS!!!!

Marvelous revealed and shared the first details on Fate/Extella, the newest entry in Type-Moon’s series. Here’s the latest information in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]

The scenario of the game is being written by Kinoko Nasu and Hikaru Sakurai with character designs by Arco Wada. As far as story goes, it takes place after the Holy Grail War of the Moon.

So far they’ve confirmed the following Servants:

• Saber Nero Claudius (CV: Sakura Tange): The Servant that won through the Holy Grail War of the Moon. She has a mysterious form change, too.

• Caster Tamamo-no-Mae(CV: Chiwa Saito): A Servan that can use a variety of different magic skills.

• Saber Altera (CV: Mamiko Noto): First time appearing in the main series. [Previously only appeared in Fate/Grand Order.]

Another anime game? Eh, not for me I'm afraid, too many of these things releasing IMO.

Yay more PS4 games the better. It's nice to see Sony supporting PS4 strong as ever.

@dynamitecop: The anime genre of games are pretty much PS exclusive in general outside 3DS.

And also few for Nintendo NX assuming Nintendo is taking there new console seriously.

Please no. Musou-Style needs to die. The style has been milked enough.

Don't forget about PC. There are probably more Japanese games coming out there than anywhere else.

@beardmad: Nah. Most are ports of mid 2005 games. I'm talking about new titles.

But he does have a point though, I have played few Japanese games on PC for the most parts that you cannot play anywhere else, [token hentai but that's another story] take Yandere Simulator for example. You do wanna see more Japanese game coming to PC don't you? I know Japan isn't into PC gaming, [despite very few Japanese don't have PC] but more support is always better then nothing.

Games that are either indies and digital only are irrelevant to me.

It's getting more Japanese games same-day as consoles, special treatment in ports, and the indie support is awesome as you said. PC is an awesome system to have if you like Japanese games, and only gets better as time goes on.

Honestly, there should be a Queen's Blade type of Musou game.

So the TC had to do some warping and twisting to spin and smuggle the word "exclusive" into the thread. So he combined two systems from one company to justify the world "exclusive". Well as long as he keeps on referring to shared Win10/Xbox One games published by MS as Xbox exclusives, I'm fine with that.

You are going to have to if you want to use the word "exclusive" for Xbone at all. lmao

That's true with MS giving up games to PC at an alarming rate, we'll be lucky to see any true X1 exclusives left.

But I never said anything about indie games, just Japanese games coming to PC.

The video games of this series are such mediocre trash. I remember trying to force myself to play Fate/extra but it ended up being one of the worst "RPGs" (I'm almost vexed to call it an RPG) I've ever played. Unlimited codes is in the same boat.

And that's not even mentioning the technically-not-video-game visual novels. They should just go back to strictly making hentai tbqh.

It doesn't have anywhere near 900 games available, it just recently passed 600, over 350 of which are indie titles.

900+ have been announced and will soon be on the platform. Just look, over 600+ in 2 years, golly, that;s sure a root'n toot'n lot!!!!
