PS exclusives sale, 75% off PS+, quality > quantity? (NA)

Starting tomorrow, PSN is having another one of those sales that only Steam can really consistently outmatch. a handful of awesome Playstation exclusives are going as low as $4 for PS+ members, and let's not forget that we keep those discounted games forever.

My thoughts: Why is LBP still $30 normally? There really isn't much of a reason to own it with it's sequel. $7.50 is still pushing it. Despite being throughly unimpressed with Tearaway during the demo, I might grab it at $18. Other than Flower though, I own the rest already.

PSABR, SotC, Ico, Tearaway, and Flower are all easy recommendations.

They just got released on PSN. This is their preliminary "On PSN" sale. Stupid, I know.

Meh sale...The only good games are the two R&C games and I already own them. So nothing for me. I would get Tearaway if it was cheaper, but I'm not spending $18 for it. At this point they should be giving away Flower.

I keep wondering if MLB 13 is worth 10 bucks.

PSN+ is undoubtedly the best value in gaming today.

I don't think most of the shit threads on this board should be in System Wars. So we seem to be at an impasse.

I am a little surprised to see the negative response. Sale isn't the best it's ever had, but the games that are there are quality. Though I do suppose that does mean most people who wanted them already own them.

Good list, but too bad their titles I already got, like Ico & Shadow of the Colossus, Flower, Little Big Planet.

I'd hope I see a sale like this with some titles like Okami HD, or Deadly Premonition Director's Cut, but these are Sony first party developed/published titles so I dunno if we'll see third part games that cheap.

Never grabbed those on PS3 ( have both on PS2). How are these ports?

Nothing for me. Not feeling this sale one bit.

The ports are true to the originals........for better or for worse. Gameplay remains the same and untouched.......frustrations included.

The sharp visuals make everything easier to see (Ico was even more frustrating on PS2 because you couldnt see sometimes with the low resolution darkness lol).

SotC is far better in HD as you can easily see where you are going and what you are doing. Had they remastered this, i wouldve gladly paid $60 for it. Nothing but positives for this one.

Even with the frustrations they are far better than the PS2 with the HD, better framerate, and more precise controls.

Hey navy, how's playstation all stars? Are you playing it actively and are there a lot of people online? From what you wrote about ico and shadow of the colossus seems like a must buy for me. (Never did have a ps2)

Always wanted to try Battle Royal and Twisted Metal, but never brought myself to by them.

For $5 each I will definitely will.

Ive only played All Stars at a friends house about a dozen times. If im being completely honest..........it was fun for the first hour i played, and 30mins of the second time i played.

It can be fun in the right environment..............like playing with friends after a few drinks lol.

Otherwise it is shallow, unbalanced, and rather boring.

They needed more (and better) characters and something that makes it different than Smash Bros. It is such a blatant carbon copy that they didnt bother to add anything new or get the balance down. It reminds me of Darth Vader and Yoda in Soul Caliber. Just doesnt fit or play well.

Not saying it is a horrible game, just doesnt stand out. Id definitely recommend at that price though. Might have a few nights of fun with some buddies.
