PS+ July: Rocket League, Geo Wars 3, Styx, and more!

Prepare yourselves for a free games lineup the likes of which you’ve (probably) never seen! We’ve got rocket-powered cars, stealthy goblins, science cats,and even a little dab of arthouse wonder for good measure. All free starting next week for PS Plus members.

This month’s lineup includes four games playable on PS4, starting with the multiplayer mayhem of Rocket League. Use insane stunts and teamwork to score points in this fast-paced arcade game that even features a wholesome little cameo from Sweet Tooth, our favorite demonic ice cream truck.

Also included is the fantasy stealth game Styx: Master of Shadows, and the head-scratching puzzles of Mousecraft. And if you’re still not satisfied, why not embark upon an adventure that spans nine lifetimes in the surreal story of Entwined?

Rounding out the lineup is Rain on PS3 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved onPS Vita. All these games will be free for PS Plus members starting on July 7th.

As for the other, Geometry Wars 3 is good fun, Entwinted feels like mobile game crap, haven't played the others. rain looked interesting a year ago but I was gonna wait for it on PS+. Yay.

Fun fact, Rocket League allows you to take four people split screen online like old Halo games did.

I'm happy for rocket league finally a game that can design ur own car and kit! Let alone 4 player split screen!

Get Rain. i can't describe it. just play it and see how wonderful this game is.

It has platforming, puzzles, great soundtrack, and an intriguing story. it's a short game too. like 2 hours. but a great experience and it sort of remind me of Team ICO.

He mentioned it would be a good game for PSN+!

Another meh month, in a long string of meh months. Still guess I'll check out Styx and Mousecraft. I can't really complain for the price.

Rain is a good game for people who haven't played it. I already own it so it does nothing for me. Too bad they don't have a PS4 version. Might have played back through it for the trophies.

Don't know what Rocket League is. Must admit its geo wars 3 on vita I'm most happy about at this stage.

Rocket League seems nice and Geo Wars 3 on Vita should be fun. I'll try them all though. I always do.

Four games for PS4, with Rocket League being my main draw.

Not the best month, but I will check out Rocket League, Entwined, Styx, Mousecraft, and Geometry Wars 3. I can't say I'm excited though, no way. Hopefully next month is better, but I am happy to see FOUR games for PS4 to play like last month, and the month before there was FIVE PS4 games to play.

Rain & Geometry Wars are nice additions to the collection. Never heard of Rocket League before today, but with the impressions in this thread I'll have to try that out too.
