PS Plus vs Games with Gold - the battle for October!

Sony is better. Been so tempted to pick up 2K21 glad I waited, now I can just play with PS Plus. I've got a couple buds who I play golf games from time to time with. only need 1 controller too like trackmania. Good couch co-op. MKX I already own, hell let loose I might try.

Don't even know the 2 games with games with gold, MS been half ass with games with gold, gamepass is their bread and butter

Code Veronica is a nice touch for November, was hoping for a horror game for ps +. But MKX isn't a bad pick either, my favorite MK game but one I've owned for a long time already.

Kind of close but I think I’d give the edge to Games with Gold here. Mortal Kombat X is cool and I do enjoy golf from time to time but Code Veronica X and Harmony of Despair and better games.

I'm psyched that Code Veronica is on there, and the 360 games you get forever even after Xbox live or Gamepass ultimate runs out :)

Also it does 100+ players before Battlefield does :)

I guess Sony because of Mortal Kombat. I don't really play golf games either but on Xbox I've never heard off any of those games except for Code Veronica, and I played that game back in the day on Dreamcast. So I guess the one with the AAA fighting game wins by default for me.

Well, seeing as though I was probably going to buy Hell Let Loose it's an easy W on this one. It'll be added to Enlisted as two of a few of the only actual next gen only games I own... strange they are both WWII shooters. Still, I am happy to get the chance to play it without spending money on it since I have already bought just about every shooter on the market other than it.. lol.

I already played everything else I have any interest in.

GwG has better offerings this month. Those are dope 360 games I will certainly download for keeps.

Cute. Sony fanboys still have to rely on free monthly games in order to not have to be forced to shell out $70 for an 8 hour game. Get Game Pass already.

I'll give it to GWG this month. I don't really like Mortal Kombat and I doubt I'm playing a golf game that isn't Hotshots Golf. I'd take a Resident Evil and a Castlevania game over those offerings.

I'm going with GWG this month. The two 360 offerings are really good games. I am not sure why MK X is being offered when MK 11 is currently on sale for $12.49. It isn't even the XL edition so all the dlc will have to be purchased. Hell Let Loose looks like it could be pretty cool, but Code Veronica X and Castlevania win it for me.

For me PS Plus gets the edge as the golf game is the perfect game for this service. Something you would never buy but sometimes feel like playing.

Most of the games on there are not for me personally.

MKX would be the better of all the games listed, though surprised they didn't bother getting the XL version, maybe it's because of licensed content but the game has been on sale tons over the years. I like it better than MK11, MK11 looks better and offers and even better variety of finishers but the combat just feels too stiff and I didn't enjoy the challenge towers as much as MKX.
