PS Vita Vs 3DS who is going to have better racing games?

IMO Vita will have better racing games than 3DS because of Wipeout 2048, Modnation and Ridge Racer Vita.

So tell me which handheld will have better racing games? (Vita or 3DS) and tell me why?

P.S i don't want Mario Kart

Vita has Gran Turismo, so that's all that matters to me.

3DS. See, Racing games with really great graphics just work so much better on a larger screen. The 3DS is perfectly capable of displaying graphics that are adequate for a portable. What sets 3DS above psv here is the 3D. Of all genres, it really sucks you into the game. I've been playing GT5 in 3D and it is just incredible--it puts the forza 3 vs GT5 argument to rest, imo. Not only the 3D, but the dual screen can clear up the hud clutter that often plagues racing games--in addition to putting a rear view mirror on the bottome screen. I figure most people will say Vita because it is more powerful, but that is my take on it.

Most likely the Vita. Personally I find Mod Nation Racers to be a lot more fun than Mario Kart.

There's really only three racing series that I care about, being F-Zero, Mario Kart and Wipeout. So for me, the 3DS could potentially have the edge. If there was to be a 3D F-Zero I would be rather happy.

Vita already has Wipeout and Modnation. It will no doubt get a GT game in the future too. Add to that Ridge Racer, Burnout etc. I think its safe to say it will be better for racing games.

You never know 3ds might get third party racers in the future.. doesnt mean they will be good

but if you want a simulation then gran turismo would suit you..

Sony has tons of great racing games and lots of variety in Gran Turismo, Modnation Racers, Motorstorm and Wipeoutme2002

Mario Kart is enough for the 3DS to win

I'd go with PS Vita. Outside of Mario Kart I doubt the 3DS will have any other racer worth while.

im going to guess Vita is going to end up with lots of FPS, racing games and sports games. Aswell as some RPGs

So it will be obvious that Vita is going to win based on the fact that they will have many racing games, and some of them will be good.

Even if i dont believe any of them will be better the Mario kart.

The 3D doesn't bother me on the 3DS, but I have heard it gives people headaches. Fzero will probably then give these people brain aneurysms then, no? OR, the game will be so good that these people will magically not be bothered by the 3D anymore. Even still, 3DS for racers. 3D improves this genre, imo.

I played that game with relatives when I was very young. From what I recall, it was quite entertaining. :) The lack of Crash Bandicootin the past years would make it appear as if Sony will wait until PS4 to once again reveal Crash Bandicoot into the world in some series (likely the action path).

There will also be a F1 2011 racing title (simulator?) for the Ps Vita. It has not been reveled if there will be cloud saves however, such a feature would set it apart from the 3DS version when in campaign modes between the PS Vita and PS3.

Back when the psp launched everyone was thinking the same thing. 5 years later we get a game with less content than the original Gran Turismo.

As long as a sequel for Motorstorm: Arctic Edge comes to the Vita, I'll be fine.

Vita. Wipeout looks incredible and you know there's going to be a Gran Turismo game. And I'm sure EA will put some Need for Speed games on there and I'd say that if they get a good dev to do them, they'll turn out pretty good.

well everyone who counts ridge racer in the first place must be pretty desperate.

Showing that 3DS dosent even need it, because of mario kart, while vita dosent have a quality racer on that level. They need to go for quantity :P
