I see Tekken 3, FF7, and the original MGS higher than Tekken Tag Tournament, GTA3, and MGS3. If the Ps1 games are higher than the Ps2 games, then that's better than more AAA games.

i guess you didn't play any of the final fantasies, silent hill, resident evil, okami, metal gear, mortal kombat, shadow of the colossus, guitar hero (questionable probably) theres a ton more really but im a bit brain dead from work. z4twenny

FF7 and FF8 were on the Ps1. Resident Evil 1 2 3 were on the Ps1. RE4 was a port on the Ps2. And Mortal Kombat 4 was the worst in the series. Deception and DA was bad too.

Silent Hill 1 was also the best, and was on the Ps1

I haven't played Pandamonium but croc is freaking terrible. It was extremely boring and the controls were misserably bad.

thanks for the insult. I apologize for not loving JRPGs (the PS1's strongest genre) and thinking the controller sucked, among other things. Also the controls on many of the platformers were down right terrible.

There is actually a Klonoa game coming to the wii. I haven't played the previous games but I have heard good things. It's already been released in Japan.

PS2 can play PS1 game, so instantly it beats PS1 system. As well as.. Ico, Narutimate 3, Shadow of Collusus, Metal Gear Solid 2-3, Dragon Quest VIII, GTA3, GTA: SA, Persona 3-4, etc.ArisShadows

PS1 is up there with SNES as my fav consoles.

I loved the ps1 and ps2, but imo ps1 was the better system. Both systems have soo many quality rpgs though, which i love.

So many good games on the ps1, just incredible. The ps2 had some good games like Devil May Cry and Bully but the jaggy graphics felt pretty dated after a few years. That and the system was plagued with mediocre sequels. Most people I knew used it mainly as a dvd player.

the PS2 is the best console ever made IMO, at least success wise. i think it has an overall better library than the PS1, but the PS1 was still amazing.
