PS1 vs PS2

I'm not asking you to compare graphics.  I want to know which system you think had the greater impact on gaming.
PS1 or PS2?

  Not a very easy question to answer but I have to say the PS1 had the bigger impact.  It was the RPG renaissance, and also advanced technology in general many times over what was available before.  It was more unique and innovative for its time than the PS2 was in other words.
Yep, I say PS1 (aka PSX) was proably the most revolutionary system ever released in any era.  It smoked the competition, and for good reason.

You should've titled it
PS1 vs PS2 (the Wii is Crap)
You would've got loads of feedback.

Anyways, I think the PS1 had more of an impact as well.
