PS2 has more AA/AAA exclusives this year then any next gen console

I'm going out to say that this has to be the worst generation ever. When a console on its 7th year has better games then consoles in there 1st and 2nd year of life. Xbox 360, and Wii both had 1 AAA exclusive this year,while the wii had a couple AA exclusives. PS3 had no AAA exclusives but a couple AA exclusives. What is pathetic, is the fact that xbox 360, ps3, and wii fanboys are arguing over which one has the best of the worst. Anyways here is the list of AA/AAA exclusives

I don't have a PS3, but if i had - and now forgetting the SW crap -i would try games like Resistance, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk. I'm personally loving this gen. I greatly enjoyed games like GRAW1 and 2, Dead Rising, RS Vegas, GeOW, COD2 and 3, Condemned, Chromehounds (my preferred Xbox Live game), Lost Planet, Oblivion, The Outfit, Bioshock, The Darkness,Blue Dragon (believe it or not i liked it)and others. I'm playing the COD4 beta, great game, with fantastic graphics and superb gameplay - don't miss it when available for the PS3. I greatly enjoyed GOW2, and can't wait for Chain of Olympus on the PSP

Honestly, you can't say that after only citing exclusives. You are missing big games like Bioshock that are really incredible and have made this gen. Perhaps this generation is one of the worst for console exclusive games, but that is not the only thing that defines how good the gen is.

Besides, it isn't surprising that the ps2 still got great games this year, the thing was a monster.

Forza 2 (9.2), Bioshock (9.0),Fear (8.6), , Oblivion Shivering Isles (8.6), Aliean Hominid HD (8.5) just to name a few. Those are XBOX games that didnt go on PS3 or Wii this year. Plust Im sure there are 3-4 more exclusives.

Thats not even mentioning Mass Effect and Halo3 which will come out this year which are lock for AAA and maybe AAAA. PS3 has nothing like that coming out.

In SW, the PC counts. Those games aren't exclusive.

Ummm.. the PS2 isn't part of this generation. Of course it's going to have a lot of games, there are more companies developing PS2 games then they are PS3, XBox 360 and Wii games. More games, mean there will be more "AA/AAA" games. That's pretty obvious. You need top remove the PS2 from the equation however as they aren't part of this generation.

Why are you comparing LAST GEN exclusives to THIS GEN exclusives? :lol: The PS2 has been out for 7yrs, of course it's going to have more "AA/AAA" exclusives. That's a given. The PS3 has many exclusives that you should be listing.

As someone else said, it's not just about the exclusive titles. There are incredible multiplat titles coming out that are going to be worth owning. These titles also contribute to making the system the best it can be.

Who cares if the titles have come out yet or not? You said THIS YEAR. All these titles will be out this year and most of them will be "AA/AAA". Eternal Sonata is timed exclusive. It's not out on the PS3 yet and won't be for another year most likely. So yes, it's exclusive THIS YEAR.
