PS3 3D ability overrated true or false?

because xbox360 can play game in 3D also

Home copnsole 3D as a whole is not overrated. It really does add something to the game. And it will be awesopme with BO on both platforms :) .

I find so yes.
any form of Pseudo 3d is overated and worthless to me, I think of Pseudo 3d as a gimmick and a gimmick only. So yes Any form of pseudo 3d is overated including ps3's capability.

3D in general is overrated. It's nothing more than a gimmick that'll be dead once more in the years to come.

I knew HDMI 1.4 was required for a 3D output, but I thought both the 360 and PS3 could simply update firmware to enable compatability. If that is not the case, is the 360 still stuck on HDMI 1.2b?

Hahas ok, I would double check, but its midnight here anyway, so although it is earlier than there, it is still fairly late and too tireed to look that sort of stuff upo! Im sure someone will correct us if we are wrong!

the 360 does have something to do its playing the game but i would like to know how its possible because i would think that just converting 2d to 3d from a tv might lower the quality but from the ign preview if cod bo in 3d the guy said it looked great and it looked the same as the demos for ps3 and pc

You probably meant the PS3 capabilities as you're pointing out how the 360 could also display 3D graphs.

I feel the same way, but many seem to like the idea so who am I to judge? I just hope it doesn't effect the overall quality of games I enjoy as a result of working on 3D. I know I'll be turning off the 3D effect on my future 3DS as well - I've heard concerns regarding eye sight when viewing 3D over a long period of time. I don't know if there is any truth behind that, but I'm not going to risk it on something I find distracting & don't really enjoy anyway.
