Well ****, Sony sold 250 consoles. Game over MS and Nintendo, take a lap and hit the showers.

Seriously though I'll wait to see how the 80gig model sells after an honest-to-god $160 price cut, because it's still in stock.

Kinda shows how bad of a state the PS3 is in when selling 250 consoles is considered a onslaught. Wake me up when you have some real news.

Edit- Here is NPD for Canada

Hardware - Sep 07
360 = 51.2K
NDS = 45K
WII = 42.9K
PSP = 22K
PS2 = 16.5K
PS3 = 15.6K
GBA = 8.6K

The PS3 has a lot of work cut out for them in Canada. As you can see the " Sony Family" are all at the bottom.

1 is alot easier to market, develop, manufacture, and keep up-to-date for than 3... you know.

Not suprising, I don't have the numbers but I think Canada really supported the Xbox last gen, I only know a couple of people who own a PS2/PS3, while I know a ton of people who own an Xbox/360.

Well then Sony shouldn't have make the PSP or kept the PS2 in development, now should they? Nintendo is marketing, developing, manufactuing and keeping up-to-date 3 products and they're doing allright.

Wow. I can't believe this link got a second post.

This wasn't actually an article, but something posted on N4G an hour before Renegade made a topic like this (suspicious no?).

Also, that link doesn't prove they sold out of the PS3's it proves (click on the red circle icon next to the location to get a legend that the place doesn't have it available, not that it sold out.

Futureshop's online sales have a very small number of consoles, most of the purchases will be made in store no doubt but it is cool that they finally sold all oftheir online stock, they must have been getting tired of having console boxes collecting dust.
