i say u get the ps3 it feels better knowing that u have a machine that has real techlonogical attributes . for example: ps3 bluray
360 dvd (I'll give you this one; I'm glad to have a PS3 due to the blu-ray player)
ps3bluetooth
360 cheap 3.4 gigahertz controllers (honestly, I don't really care which one I use, as long as it works. it's nice that you can use any bluetooth with the PS3, but the 360 controllers work just as well from a wireless perspective)
ps3 contollers dont use batteries (uh...yes they do; did you think they ran on magic?)
360 u have to buy batteries (or buy the rechargeable pack. and when the PS3 controller's battery dies, what then? how do you replace it? it's nice to have the option of going to AAs if you want to...)
ps3 wi fi built in
360 wifi seperate (good deal on the PS3 side)
ps3 hardware failure 0.02% (uh no)
360 failure 30% (uh no. neither of these statistics has been proven)
ps3 now has great game library
360 has same library (plus MORE games.)
ps3 has like about 4 games coming out in 2008 that are exclusive resistance2 ,socom, littlebigplanet, motorstorm pacif rift
360 1= fable 2 the only one worth getting (to quote myself, "uh no". ever heard of Gears of War, for example?)
i say u get the ps3
I say you get whichever system has a more appealing library to you. If you have an HDTV and are interested in blu-ray, buy a PS3. But if you just want games, don't be surprised if you learn towards the 360.
