uh oh....Better tell Epic that Gears of War isn't next gen because it's on a DVD. In fact, better tell all PC devs that only next-gen games are on blu-ray.

No great exclusives at 360 launch? Yeah same for PS3. Especially if you look at the gamespot scores.

And as for your arguements, good for you. I'm glad you like your system, you paid for it, you earned it.

and i bought six 360 games as well, and there were some i didnt need to buy because my brother/friends bought some.

I have no reason at all to buy a PS3.  I was going to at one point.  I had enough money, and it was right infront of me in a store.  In the end, I said screw it and bought a PS2 AND a Wii with money to spare for some great games for each system.  I could not care less about bluray dvds, there is only one good exclusive for the system, the graphics in games which currently are also on the 360, are worse on the PS3, the online system is nothing compared to the 360, and a plethora of other reasons why I would sooner buy a $600 pancake (at least then I would get a pancake instead of a paperweight).  All in all, the 360 is better than the PS3 in every way.  Sure good games will come out for the PS3, but not for another year or so.  The system is a complete waste of money which any reasonable person would only buy without really thinking it through first.

Yes, as far as the overall package, the PS3 is easily the best system available. It's going to take more games for more people to jump on the bandwagon though. By Holiday 2007 I believe we will begin to see a transition as to who the dominant console is... By Holiday 2008 when MGS4 & FFXIII have come out, this transition will be complete.

However, the online service of the 360 has no competition. And even though Sony's online is still evolving and growing... I'm not sure that I ever expect it to feel as streamlined as the 360's. Afterall, software is MS's strong point. However, over the holiday, there was an interview on gametrailers.com where they had 3 industry leaders discuss the outlook of gaming.... and even they noted that less than 30% of console gamers are online gamers. And this is where the 360 drops the ball... it's great for online gaming, but there is still a majority that want to enjoy great single player games without subscribing to a service or playing online.

The 360 probably has massive appeal to online gamers. But story modes will always be greater (and more creative) than online modes IMO. And unfortunately the 360 still lacks a lot of good games that focus on excellent single player campaigns.

And the Wii.... well the Wii is the Wii. I'll probably buy one for my son, but I have no interest in one anytime soon. If they get past all this mini game crap and start coming out with some great 3rd party titles, I'd be more than happy to spend my money with them as well.

Actually, MOST gaming sites voted R:FOM AAA... It's not just a cow thing. It is currently the best FPS experience on any console past or present. The ony FPS I've enjoyed more are Far Cry and Half Life.... and that's saying a lot.
