PS3 and 360 owner (Which COD4 do I buy?)

I am not trying to start a flame war and I have read the reviews and here are my thoughts. People say that the 360 and p3 versions are the same. But why would they have the same score with the 360 supporting rumble and achievements? Does the ps3 indeed have better graphics? Isn't the 360 controller considered more comfortable?

Personally I WANT to find a reason to get the ps3 version (if it is better graphically or for other valid reasons) because I want to support the system. But if they are identical; wouldnt people go with the achivements and better controller option? Im confused and WANT to go buy the game today> i figured I would get your feedback before going. Thanks.

They say get it for whatever console's controller you prefer.

Personally I would get it for the PS3 becuase there aren't to many games for the PS3.

thanks for the input. I am leaning toward the 360 because the controller I am very used to for FPS and achievements are OK. The ps3 version, if it had better graphics I would probably go for because I don't care much about achievements or controller (im comfortable with both). one reason to get the ps3 may be because the ps3 hasn't been played much recently with me playing halo 3 a lot! I have an original launch 360 with no problems thus far...maybe I shouldnt tax my system so much and play a game on the ps3;)

I think your getting the ps3 version because you don't have an xbox 360.

Stick to the console thats known to perfect the shooter genre, the 360. Besides, more people have it which means more players online and speaking about online, Xbox Live is superior, plus everyone will have headsets. And you can always know what your friends are doing on their 360 and you can always invite them to your game. Plus there's achievements and custom tracks. And you don't have to use credit cards to buy COD4 downloadable content.

I think I might go with the 360, because I think they have more online players (not sure tho)

But I do feel satisfied that I could finally get a game on my ps3 that is indeed worth the buy.

go with the 360 version cause it has better online and there's going to be a lot of tournaments where you can win free stuff. especially from nov. 16th-18th.

Actually it is better on the PS3 but I don't think either version is worth it. Single player is super short and there are better multiplayer games for both consoles. But then again, I have never been a COD fan. Oh well, have fun guys.

it's not super short if you playit on hard. takes about 9-10 hours to beat. and the storyline is really cool.

you should really give it a try. the game is so intense. the multi-player is great as well.

360 version seems to look a tiny bit better, and runs a tiny bit smoother as well (less framerate drops)aceReborn

They're both locked at 60fps.

360 version has achievements, most casuals play it online, and the controller is nice for fps's, and slightly better graphics.

ps3 version has better online, good controller, no achievements, and the pop-up effect.

i would suggest the 360 version simply for the controller, but it depends which version you prefer.
