PS3 and 360 owners, which do you prefer?

For those of you who own both systems, which do you prefer?

And which one did you own first?

Do you think that owning one before the other has affected your opinion?

360 for life, until PS3 gets more games, which is probably next year.

I recently left the PS3 and boy do I feel relieved.

I bought the 360 when it first came out, loved simply just GEARS it was innovative and beautiful, but I wanted the online experience, so I got the ps3, and played online for free, unlike live...ps3 has the most value, 360 has better games, it will always be like that...

i got both and i would have to go with the ps3 for reliability and the ps3 has some pretty great games but also the xbox has some of my favs on there but to be honest i really dont kno they are both are great and i think everybody should have both if you can spend the money for it

I prefer PS3, because I have had some sort of Playstation for over 10 years now and I am used to the controls and the games on Playstation. Also it is quiter and runs better and has little bonuses like BLu-ray and on board wireless internet.

I will say at the start of this generation I was not planning on buying a 360 but I could no longer ignore its pressence in the video game industry.

I am happy to own all three systems but Playstation 3 gets by far the most play in my house.

360 for gaming and PS3 for blu-rays and some exclusives.

PS3. I use it for all my gaming needs and 360 is just there if I want a exclusive. Hell im not using my 360 till alan wake and ME2 comes out and thats about it unless something els gets announced that im interested in.

I own both. I do like the 360 better overall. I had the 360 first. I don't think that plays on why I like the 360 better. I like the variety in 360 games better. I also like the 360 controller better for any genre accept fighters. PS3 is still worth owning with some awesome games that are PS3 only (MLB The Show, Infamous, etc) but if I could only have one it would be the 360 for sure.

Had a 360 back in 07, sold it for a PS3 and loved the decision that I made.

I bought the 360 first, then two years later I bought the PS3. Reason is because of exclusive AAA games. Plus I have a feeling the PS3 will eventually, slowly but surely rise to the top. But I still love my 360. I have too many AAA games for it and it has great games still coming out.

I bought the 360 first and I'll give the slight edge to the 360. Of course it's a little unfair because I just got the PS3. To be fair I'll give the PS3 a couple years.

Bought a PS3 first and prefer the PS3

i bought a 360 first, then i bought a PS3 later on. but i gotta say i am beginning to prefer my PS3 a lot more.

I prefer the 360. I'll admit i haven't been giving the ps3 a fair chance but i've still been satisfied with the 360.

I prefer the PS3. There are more games for it that I like (obviously not counting multiplatforms).

This is interesting, so half the 360 first owners who bought PS3s now prefer their PS3?

I wonder what other factors might be at play here. Do you think that because that half of 360 owners paid more for the PS3 than they did for their 360 they prefer the PS3 now? Or do you attribute it to the PS3's games and relative reliability?

Maybe cost has somehting to do with why barely any PS3 first owners prefered the 360...

Or it could mean he doeisnt like or is interestedin most of the PS3 libary. I mean 360 has nothing I want till 2010.

ahaha, right now im looking for the upcoming exclusives that may catch my attention, to see if they can justify the purchase of a 360...so far Mass Effect 2 is the only one...and maybe 2 or 3 oldies....

by that time i did loved it more(2006), since last gen i was an Xbox owner, but all of them were faulty so i gave up and got rid off them. Bought a PS3 (2008 ) and i love it more than the 360 :)

AND i only bought one 360...the other 2 were store replacements...so no..i only paid 400$...in the end i sold the last one(2007), and got the PS3 with that money

I bought my 360 first, and it is still the most used console. I generally prefer to use it because XBL is better than PSN (IMO), the controller is better for shooters (6AXIS is better for SF4 and FIFA) and i mostly play shooters.

I also tend to prefer the Xbox exclusives (i know some of them are on PC, lets not be pedantic) like L4D and Gears.

Multiplats also tend to get bought for the 360 (except FIFA and SF4)

I got PS3 in mid 2007 and the 360 last June... like both consoles however i do prefare PS3, i always been more interested in its exclusives..
