New games, eh? You mean like Zelda, Pikmin, and Mario? Games they announced were in development?ThePlothole
games that will not be challenging at all, will not have quests, objectives, because nintendo wants to appeal to the widest audience...much like wii music.
The Wii isn't considered Next Gen officially. It's a last gen system with motion sensing. I don't like it that much, Only system I don't have, but I'll probably get it anyway.MuffinPunk
What the heck are you talking about? The Wii is a current-gen console whether you like it or not.
This applies for the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. The "next-gen" consoles would be the Xbox 720, PS4, etc.
Get your facts straight.

So that's why Mario Galaxy was never released!
No. It's still a good console. It has tons of great titles. It IS however, completely overun by stupid gimmicky games (like ninjabread man and carnival games woohoooo...NOT). I'm just hoping that right now there's just a game drought going on and nintendo will eventually release some hardcore titles. I know Pikmin was announced but I want more! You can't really say anything about a console until it's life is over so I wouldn't assume that Nintendo has sold out yet.
Oh and even though nintendo isn't pumping out good games soon, there are a slew of really good looking third party titles like Fatal Frame 4, Madworld, Fragile, Tales of Symphonia, The Conduit, de Blob, and Mushroom Men.

Nintendo is much different in 08 and beyond than they were in 2006 and before that !!!

One crappy E3 press conference, and suddenly Nintendo has changed forever? Have we forgotten Sony's E3 '06 p.c. already?

The objective of playing the game is to have fun. That's why people play games. It doesn't matter if you get graded or told how well you did.
Your not making any sense with this thread and you're obviously just trying to start arguements.

xbox+360 = xbox360
xbox360+360=xbox720
ps1+1= ps2
ps2+1=ps3
ps3+1=ps4
that is, assuming both microsoft and sony keep using their current name-generator algorithms.

...Holding down a button and waving a remote around like an idiot is fun? Seems a bit stupid and pointless to me.
Wii is current gen. I don't know why titles have to do with anything.
I don't own one but recognize the Wii for its capabilities that it has, even compared to the other two consoles. Look at Galaxy, Brawl, Twilight Princess, Etc. Then look at the countless other games set for release/in development.
The bombardment of sh1tty games for the Wii is all the game developers' faults, and no blame should be directed at Nintendo itself.

where'd you get the 360 from?
wouldn't it be xbox + 1?
or perhaps xbox + xbox?
i mean seriously ... why is 360/PS3 being considered a gaming console 360/PS3 DOSE NOT PLAY New GAMES ! IT PLAYS All the Games from LAST GEN ONLY WITH BETTER GRAPIX!!! ! well at first it played games (PDZ and ViVa Pinata)but then as sales grew MS/Sony seemed to milk the Graphics and ignore the people that made it who it is. i mean Halo 3/GTA IV 360/PS3 ? GAMES should be NEW and Different! NOT JUST the same old games revised with better graphics TO FAIL AND PRESS BUTTONS ! lets face it 360/PS3 should not be considered consoles they should be considered a gimmicks. trends with improved graphics only that will eventually fade IMO but really this means MS/Sony needs to put out new GAMES not the same OLD GAMES with better graphics and stop milking established franchises . ps3wizard45there you go Fixed or at least some of it LOL

its just one game from nintendo. i love how the haters choose the worst game idea from 1 company and just run with it, making silly claims that every game is gonna be like that.
that same company made SMG and SSBB. both were released less than a year ago... oh how the haters forget so soon

Wow I could say the same thing about a regular controller...
"Sitting on your ass and pressing stupid buttons on a peice of plastic is fun? Seems a bit stupid and pointless to me."
Mimicking and making fun of something does not prove any point at all.
