No kidding, I think they are starting to collect the different colors or have one in every room of the house.
If you think that it's going to keep up then you are dead wrong. SkullboyX
I never thought that. I'm just glad that the PS3 is outselling the Wii for the first time in Japan considering its still cost more than the wii.
it still makes no sence whats so ever that a 400 system beat a 200 system, in any way shap r fourmG10mgs4
Sure it is if the supply of Wii's has been shifted out of Japan for America... Those 519k didn't just appear out of nowhere.

Wanna take that to SW bets? ;)
EDIT: Hell, let's spice this up. If the Wii doesn't outsell PS3 at least 3:1 in the month of December in Japan, I'll leave for the month of January. If the PS3 DOES get outsold 3:1, then you leave for a month. How's that?

What price drop in Japan?
The on that started Nov 11th...
Sony said on Tuesday it would lower the price of the PS3 with a 20 gigabyte (GB) hard disk drive to 44,980 yen ($384) from 49,980 yen on October 17. It will also start selling its 60 GB model at 54,980 yen. It currently retails for around 60,000 yen. Besides the price cuts, Sony, which competes with Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) and Nintendo in the videogame industry, plans to launch a new PS3 with a 40 GB hard drive at 39,980 yen in Japan on November 11. link

Wii supplies are effectively capped, since Nintendo doesn't seem to want to build a new production line. I imagine Wii sales would be even higher than they are right now if Nintendo could actually keep up with demand.

That's what I'm thinking. Nintendo literally owns Japan, however North America and Europe are in question. What I think is going on is that they are taking those 50,000 units they would've shipped to the land of the rising sun and put them to North American instead.
