Should I also mention you will be going through 2 or 3 Xbox 360s? I just think PS3 has a lot of potential and eventually will rise to the top.

just cos sony give you everything (including a lot you might not need (blu-ray player) and you pay for it doesnt mean you can come and tell lies. 

I don't pay for XBL on my 360. I just don't play online often enough to justify paying for it. Although free online on the PS3 is very appealing to me since I can just play a game online without paying a dime.

The PS3 does have tremendous value as long as you are interested in all of its features.

Well then you need to by a Media Center Extender $200, A 120 Gig HDD $100, Headset ($20), HDMI Cable ($20), Rumble(Priceless),  so PS3 is basically $600 + $200 + $100 + $20 + $20 = $940

^^^ As you can see this isn't needed for gaming just as  HD-DVD isn't needed for 360. BTW I bought a $12 USB adapter and configured it for my 360 to be wireless.

Please there are over 47 AA games and a half dozen AAA games already on 360.  Maybe you can do a search.  Just because there is only a handful you like it still the most impressive library of the next gen consoles by far.  Maybe you could post "All" the great games on the other consoels ATM.

If you want any of the hardware features that PS3 has for 360, you're going to pay far more on 360 hardware, period. PS3 is a better value by far, but game preference and people's ignorance about the 360 rip-off pricing scheme doesn't mean people will buy it over 360.

Y'know, I never considered the need for the HD DVD drive to go with my standard TV, or WiFi when my network cable works just fine, and WHY did I pick up the Premium? I NEED HDMI for that SDTV. I can't believe NO ONE ever looked at this angle.... oh wait... :| :| :lol: :lol:

Well obviously these extra features matter to you, but they don't to me or - by the looks of things - most people in this thread. The term "value" is purely subjective. 

I wish cows would stop bringing up the HD-DVD drive in their arguments for how much the 360 costs. The 360 is a gaming machine. TYhe HD-DVD will not play any games on the 360. If games are released for the HD-DVD drive you better believe they will be released for the non  HD-DVD dsrive 360's as well. It's not needed. The blu-ray player in the PS3 is needed since all games are on blu-ray discs. Give it up.

Do you have No-See-Ums?  A quarter the size of mosquitos, twice as painful, and a hundred times as plentiful.  Not as bad as blackflies, but still a real nuisance when you're hiking.
