I just bought like 15 games , but I can't even play any of those games because of the crappy controller sony made. Its been a month now and I still can't find a good controller I can use. I tried NYCO, LOGITECH,DS3,SHADOW controller and none work for me. Can anyone recommend me a good controller. I need a controller that has the analog feel of the 360. I'm not talking about the D-pad-analog stick switch.

While the 360 analogs do feel a little more natural because they curve inwards, I have never felt the PS3 ones prevented me from playing any game.. I don't see why its an issue at all.

Well I'm playing bad company on the ps3 right now and I'm usually really good at this game especially sniping, but when I try to snipe someone, the analog goes way off where I'm trying to aim at. What I'm trying to say is that the analog is very loose. When I look at the ps3 controller, the analog is very high up so it look like one of those fighting stick controller.

I remember the first time I used a PS controller. It felt so different from other controllers I was used to. With time I got used to it and now I have no problem using it. I cannot recommend any other controller for the PS3 since I haven't tried any 3rd party controller for it. How long have you tried using it?

Did you own a PS1 and PS2? It hasn't changed much since then, so unless you didn't, sounds like you're just complaining for complainings sake.

ps3/x360 controllers are 90% identical, if you can use one you can use the other fine.

The PS3 controller is actually my favorite this gen. I really like the positioning of the analog sticks and the triggers..

Oddly enough, I have the most trouble using the 360 controller..the analogs, button placement, and D-pad feel really unnatural when I try to use it.

I've been playing with the same controller design for years, so I'm use to it but yeah just a couple more adjustments and it would be perfect.

Gosh, the sympathy in here is overwhelming. Someone buys a PS3, 15 games, and asks for a controller suggestion and gets a bunch of sarcastic, "Don't make fun of the best controller ever made". Funny enough, I can't stand the PS3 controller either. Although, as one other person said, it doesn't stop me from playing games, I just play them in spite of it.

On this note, a horse is 90% identical to a human, genetically speaking. That 10% can make a world of difference.

Well i agree with TC, i love my PS3 but i do find the 360 controller more my type i love FPS and the DS3 isn't really a FPS friendly controller IMO it does work rather well with my sport games and fighters.

So i understand where he is coming from it is easier to shoot and kill with a 360 controller i find. The analogs are to close together for my taste when i have to aim and shoot sometimes if i slip or something boom i'm dead. I agree with you TC not everyone is out to get you :P

even though I love ps3's controller, you can buy an adapter for 65 bucks online that lets you use a wired xbox 360 controller, plus it enable the controller to rapid fore if your into that. Look it up on google, you'll find it pretty quickly

I used to dislike the Dualshock design but I'm starting to get used to it. The triggers are a bit weak and hard to hold on to though.

These are $5 most places games are sold. They work really well.

What I find weird is that the DS3 triggers were designed with a downward slant, as if they are purposely designed so your fingers will slip off.

The quoted text describes my feelings about the Dualshock and thus, I can not relate to anything stated in the OP. Since you have already tried the shadow controller, I afraid there's nothing I can recommend.

I've never had any problems with the controller. The design has been virtually unchanged since the PS so I guess it's something one gets used to. Or people just like to complain.

Nice, thanks for the info :) They seem to cost around €10 here but I guess they're worth it.
