I think ps3 did great for what it could, we see some games that helped keep it alive. However do you guys remember those hardcore sony fanboys every year even before the console was released saying that when the ps3 is out it will dominate the 360? How about this one "Next year will be Ps3's year" How many years did we hear that? since launch people havent given up hope on theps3and once that year failed they assumed the next would come.
I cant help but see sort of a loss. i dont think ps3 is accually dying to the point where no one else will buy one or anything what im getting to is that they aren't becoming as successful as anyone thought, even the fanboys.
They are losing exlusives left and right, and now? lost a developer. I am sure sony had great ideas and plans! but the economy is something they were not prepaired for. i think if the economy was in a better state than it is now or in the past years it would live longer. The costs to make a game for ps3 is so high, yet little income in return for all their effort. Sony doesnt earn much from each ps3 sold i heard that puts them into a greater loss.
I guess one could argue they arent because of their E3 press conference but come on. do you really think sony would magically get #1 over god of war 3? it will get more people in, sure but lets not exagurate, when was the last time any console sky rocket in sales over 1 game or just a few. do you think sony has something that would put them back into the console war? because as far as i see it, sony is deffinately isn't in on it. E3 we just saw games, thats about it and a wii like controller with more enhanced controlling... and how many games do they have that uses this device? im sure if someone wanted a controller to move around they would go over the wii which has a tons of fun games. What is everyone else's thoughts?
