The error "80010514" on the PlayStation 3 is not a common error that is 1st, secondly its a software error made when someone shuts off the system while updating their firmware (It says in the beginning not to shut it off during the update Artards!)

There is a way however to fix the error you have to Re-Format the hard drive then it will go back to normal. You do not have to send it back to SCE so now that this issue is cleared up im going to stay up all night waiting to get a taste of that new store

Just curious, have you try this fix yourself or someone else you know?

I actually experienced the Error during the weekend First thing i did was to follow the 5 steps they tell you over the phone EVERYWHERE no matter for what console or PC

The 5th step being to re-format the hard drive

Did you lose all your game saves? Or did you still have a chance to back them up first?
