MAG is a great game overall and as far as Confrontation goes, it had great gameplay as well.

Confrontation had the gameplay department on lock down, it was just everything else that sucked: Laggy menus, numerous bugs and glitches, missing standard shooter features, missing features advertised on the box (lol).

Graphics aren't everything. Halo 3 taught us that :P.

In this day and age all games look just fine to me. 20 years ago we would've peed on ourselves if we would've known the visual quality of modern games.

Meh, I will stick with ARMA2 and the original Ghost Recon. Socom has been going down hill for awhile now. If its like 20$ ill try it.

Because Sony doesn't care about SOCOM anymore.

It died when PS3 was announced because they shifted their focus to garbage FPS games like Killzone, MAG and Resistance.

I've never really cared for Socom, but all the guys I know that do never played it for the graphics.

Plus those screens are probably the worst I've seen for the game so far.

Good gameplay doesn't take up all the dev time, Socom will probably turn out to be rushed trash and flop along with GT ad Killzone.Blixxed

So when Sony launches a graphical beast (UC, KZ) cows get flamed for flaunting the graphics... but when Sony launches an average looking game, they get bashed...BedBugMan

how nice of both of you to have such positive thoughts about a game which many people put hours into make, how lovely it is that you feel like supporting the game industry is best achieved by bashing a game which you have never got your hands on

In my life I put many hours in quite a few things that did not pan out. So I don't care about the hours put into the game if it still looks stale. Also I do not see what is wrong with having a negative opinion about a game so don't question my support. The way I support the game industry is by buying games I like, thx for playing.

using still shots is just plain deceptive in practically all cases. the game does not really look that bad, not that im stoked about buying it or anything. this thread is just BS
