PS3 Failure...

C'mon people...Lately I've been reading this backlash from wounded cows about how the PS3 is making this maraculous comback fueled by Oblivian (yawwn, been there done that).  All of a sudden we're supposed to believe that the PS2.5 is worth $600 bones?  Not a chance friends...It is still selling lousy, It won't make this maraculous turn around and win this gen by the margin it won last gen by...

Sony is a mess and it continues to stay that way.

games will help but MS and Nintendo have already proven that they'll fight for some big exclusives which means Sony won't be able to realease AAA after AAA without running in to MS or Nintendo more often...

I agree that it has had a bad launch (games wise), but I am sure by the end of 2007, it will be superb. The console seems solid, good gameplay, good graphics, staple online and a nice PS Store. It is way to early to say its failed. Remake the topic at the end of the year and I am sure it will be a different story.

i don't get it, ive been through 3 xbox 360's and i gotta say when it came out, the sport games sucked, half looked liek clean xbox and ps2 games, esp. nhl 2k6. Oblivion was a bit hit but its not for everyone, i didnt get to into 360 until Table Tennis Ping Pong came out, and in all fairness it really didnt get much after that until Dead Rising in August. Fall hit and sport games look much better, Im sorry i know a few FPS came out to just Prey, Fear are all PC games of late 05. Its just PS3 will get its stuff in time to, i might get one, probaly not im quite happy with my 360 and i just got the Wii. I don't think Blu Ray is all that important but for the Sony fans there get there games just like us 360 fans, i just feel i guess PS3 was hyped so much it was expected to have all the major games out NOW, which like 360 you see is not worth that, then what is there to play later. PS2 came out in October of 2000 and personally i dont feel it got a good game until Twisted Metal Black in June of 2001. X-Box when it launched got Halo, and yes Halo 1 owns but in reality Xbox didnt get that much more for a year of ooo wow either. Cube well it got Smash Bros. In December of 01 and Cube didnt get much for a while either, Im just saying all systems launch with crap....Even N64 and Psone back in mid 90's only had like 2 killer games for the first few months...Saturn sadly failed in America but i always hear Japan it was great. Super Nintendo came out with F-zero, Pilotwings and Mario World but it wasnt until 1992 when Street Fighter 2 dropped did people really get crazy over Super Nes, cause then Sega Genesis was owning it in sales for a long long time up until Nintendo Dropped Donkey Kong Country (well not owning but beating it out). With PS3 id love to get that to but if i do id have to sell my 360 cause id need some cash and im not bout to do that with Halo 3 possibly redeeming itself after Halo 2. Just have time...I been a Nintendo fan since the late 80's and also im a huge Blizzard fan..StarCraft 2...lol, so as a gamer ive learned Patience pays off for some of the better ones...just dam you Blizzard where is our StarCraft 2 i dont even care if it sucks just to say i own StarCraft 2 hahaha...and Capcom make Street Fighter 4 while your at it. 24 million consoles sold is hardly a failure, just wait for a price drop and games like UC2 and GOW3. Then lets see you spout off the PS3 is a failure TC.djsifer01
