[QUOTE="PC360Wii"][QUOTE="farrell2k"][QUOTE="aliblabla2007"][QUOTE="farrell2k"]It took the PC, with an install base of over 200+ million, 6 months to sell 3 million copies of its most anticipated title. It took the 360, with an install base of 20+ million, 3 or 4 days to sell 3 million. Do you really NOT see the problem with that? Does it have to be explained to you guys? Jamex1987
Tell me when the 360 has anywhere near as much game competition as the PC, and tell me where it has the annoying problem of user alienation from system requirements, and tell me whether Crysis had anywhere near the marketing and hype that Halo 3 had.
I think it's you who needs the explanation given to you, sir. :|
Fair enough, I suppose. How about this? Show me any PC game, this gen, that sold 3+ million copies in 12 days.
EDIT: Correction - 3 million for Halo 3 in 12 days, not 3 days.

Blizzard Entertainment's highly anticipated expansion for World of Warcraft broke the day one sales record for computer games with nearly 2.4 million copies of The Burning Crusade sold. Some of the expansion's notable features include a higher level cap, controllable flying mounts, and a new continent to explore.
Day-one sales totals on both continents were similar, with an estimated total of nearly 1.2 million copies sold on the first day in North America and an estimated total of more than 1.1 million copies sold in Europe within the first 24 hours of launch.* By the end of the first day of availability on both continents, a total of more than 1.7 million players had already logged in and upgraded World of Warcraft to play The Burning Crusade."

i don't think anyone is disputing that MMORPGs are the money making force in PC gaming.WoW probably make up more than half of PC gaming revenue. It's practically on all the best selling PC game charts worldwide.
REgaurdless, he asked for a game that sold 3+ million , and I gave him it.
