Full backward compatibility or cheaper PS3 titles? I still have my PS2 so i have to go with cheaper PS3 titles..And we don't know the percentage of the BC for UK PS3 system..I do hope its 80 percent for them..
Why the **** are people complaining about the BC? It's like 98% for gods sakes and it will run the best games, Xbox360 has the worst BC ever concieved. But then again XB was no way near PS2 in terms of the quantity of quality games but still...PS3's BC is still great. And i live in UK, most 360 games are 44.99 or 39.999 when they come out, Crackdown is 37.99 in most official retail stores. It's WII games that are a ******* rip off they retail at 39.99 as well. 360/PS3 games will cost around the same.
Hey just because it aint full BC doesnt mean it wont have it, and besides sony is right, instead of wasting time with the passed games, I rather they make new titles like how we see titles for the xbox 360 such as gears of war and mass effect, dont u think im right? Or would u rather dem focus on BC? Its good to have all those in there but they been doing it and its been making them lag with games, look at how long ps3 owners are waiting for games. I say its a good move and it will all pay off in the end, and with a couple of updates u can still play all the awsome franchise games from the ps2 games and ps1, who knows but all I wanna see is new titles.
You do know you can pick up xbox 360 and wii games for £40 or less in the ukxxmatt125xx
^^^ Exactly. Some people amaze me. £40 ($79) games really justify the £425 ($830) 60GB PS3 purchase. And that's vs £279.99 ($550) Premium X360 and less than £45 ($88 ) games.

60 Euro for PS3 games in Ireland. 360 games are 60 Euro here in Argo's and imagine the same is true for Britain since the prices in Britain are directly converted to Euro's for Ireland so they are the same price in stores if your not an idiot and shop around. In fact in Argo's a lot of games are 40-50 Euro aswell.

pretty much...save for a few racing games that were never very good to begin with, and still didn't score well on the ps3, and Resistance, which was hyped AAA and really didn't come close.
i'm pretty sure it's a fact that a majority of the ps3's games are multiplatforms, so i'll stand by my statement...but I really don't care much.
