Ps3 Going Win 360 this gen>>>> also a poLL

I belvie ps3 wil dominate 360

my reasons are because the people that have 360s consider it ahs a console that came out first thus they purchased it

many 360 owners will then decide to get a ps3 on there next birthday or christmas

trust me i belive this is true i was on halo and gears and asked amny peopel and htey all said eventually they will purchase a ps3

also alot of people i no that have 360s say they going to eventually buy ps3

so my poll is for those who only have 360 are u going to eventually purchase ps3?

i have both consoles just in case and can tell u i sohuld of waited to buy a ps3 during mgs4 launch instead of buying it on release

I'm finished with sony, Final Fantasy has gone to crap because they haven't made a decent one since 10 and they lost a lot of great exclusives, I'm a xbox guy now and besides I still need an hdtv so I wont be buying a ps3 next year, in two years, I'll never buy that clunker.jeffdoomsday

Yes of course but the main games of final fantasy like 10, 11, 12, 13 and such are exclusive to the Playstations.

Yeah but I still didn't like 12 though, it was the least emotional and had the lamest storyline and characters imo, the world was huge and it looked really good at that time but it didn't seem like a real final fantasy game like 7, 8, 9, or 10.

PS3 and 360 is "Hardcore" at least that is what people say so hardcore vs hardcore the Wii is left out of the fight, which is a good thing because a smart person never get involved in a cat fight. PS3 VS 360=catz VS lulz more catz

Yes but April 2007 xbox360 had 11 million more units, May 2008 it went down to 5 million... next April you will post 3 million more PS3 than Xbox360... :) with a better exlusive line-up, a equal online service and guess what with MS not fixing the RROD yet...

Anyway I too believe the PS3 will end this gen way above the 360, but not for the same reasons. The bolded part is wrong, very few people own more than 1 console, in fact I think it's only 2% or something.

TC is either one of two things:

1) A little kid

2) A Fakeboy

I think there will be far more PS3 owners that will buy a 360, to play games like Gears 2, Too Human, Fable 2, Banjo 3, etc, and because it is cheap

I do not see most 360 owners getting a PS3 this year too, there is almost nothing important to play

They will. It works both ways. I always have all 3 systems. PS3 owners who only have a PS3 will probably get an XBox 360 or Wii this holiday as well. Most gamers have at least 2 game consoles.

I was suprised to find out how many of the people i know plan to buy the MGS4 bundle PS3. Im actually thinking it may be hard for me to get launch day now. And these people all have a 360. So yeah i think MGS4 will be the turning point for the Ps3, maybe not over take the 360 but itll certainly change things for the better for the Ps3. But to be honest the Ps3 needs more exclusives than MGS4... Resistance obviously doesnt attract non playstation players, killzone may because everyone has been talking about it. But Killzone 2 must be a heck of alot better than killzone 1 or itll flop. Final Fantasy 13 is like the only other certain hit (could be a flop but still sell) thatll sell more consoles for sony.

But other than MGs4 and FF13 what will get 360 and Wii players to actually buy a PS3? SOCOM for those PS2 fans who have held off (but GTA4 was for that as well)

FF13 should at least help the Japan numbers jump when it eventually hits, GoW3 is another pretty big exclusive that could sell systems.
