the thing about that is...the 360 has 9 of the top 10 over 90

ps3 has 2 of the top 10 over 90

sure it has twice the time out, but then by that logic it should only have 4 AAA games

I thoguht i heard somewhere that PS3's year 1 sales so far have exceeded 360's year one sales. Is that true?

I guess I can use your argument against Halo 3 or other 360 AAAs on Gamespot. Just because they're AAA doesn't mean they are fun games.

actually it does count because many reviewers overrate and UNDERRATE so many games. So gamerankings just gives the average of all the reviews combinded to give a more precise score for a game

READ IT here. In SW, we go ONLY by Gamespot scores. Outside of that, it's anybody's pick. This is a rule here in this forum. While I do agree that an average from many reviews is a more accurate way to gaugue the merits of a game, that has nothing to do with the game that is System Wars where again, we go by Gamespot scores against the hype.

How is the average of a compilation of different scores from different review criterias with no written review associated to that number supposed to help us accurately determine how good a game is?

The key word there being "version". Sorry to correct you there Jandurin, where in a previous post you said GRAW was a AAA exclusive. No reviewer ever said that GRAW on 360 was exclusive. They recognize the title as multiplatform, but almost unanimously, all the reviewers said 360 had the best version of the game, even over PC.

It's the SW forumites who adopted the "best version" as "exclusive", but those are 2 different things.

I've never played either, but that's how it's recorded in the "list of AA AAA games" sticky. Exclusive to 360.

Go to gamerankings, PS3 has 1 AAA exclusive, R&C. The rest of the AAAs are multiplats for now. The funny thing is 360 only has 1 AAA exclusive just like PS3, thats Halo3.Also remember PS3 came out a year later. Besides, AA games are good and are often underated, i mean who only plays AAA games.:| This is coming from someone that owns all 3 systems:) Anyway, i just had to put that out there cause i'm sick of everyone saying PS3 has no great games.JinGodFist

There's a reason for that rule. I saw this in an older thread, that from a time before I became a member, there was alot of bickering about if a game was a success or a flop, because people went by different scores from different sites.

The GS Only rule was implemented to create a unified standard. This is a GS forum, so we go only by GS score. One score, one result.

However it doesn't do it's job, as when it works against a fan group, they just disregard the rule and cry to the other sites to back up their chosen game.

Exactly. We're in System Wars. If you're going to debate games/scores here, you go by SW rules; if you don't want to, there are plenty of other forums to join on other websites. I personally value gamerankings more than Gamespot when it comes to reviews (more reviews give me a better overall view), but you're the one who chose to come in here and post.
