PS3 Home To Offer More Then Just Achievments?

I know that an achievement system is very important to our consumers. With Home, and in addition to Home, we have some very exciting programs planned to recognize our consumers gaming skills and loyalty in new ways that go well beyond a single score.

I hope everything remains free. It's shaping up to be as strong as XBL, and it's free. If it stays that way, MS will have to respond by dropping their XBL fee, so it turns out good for everyone.

Hopefully it doesn't work the opposite way and become a subscription fee for both.

im pretty sure they are, but they might wanna add more to it. I heard rumors circulating that lets say u beat KZ2 on the hardest difficulty, not only would u get the KZ2 achievement trophy but u might even get a KZ2 related item for ur home avatar, such as like a KZ2 mucg, or a KZ2 costume and wat not. This is just a rumor i heard on sum random board so please, feel free to take it with a gallon of salt.

As a proud PS3 owner, I have no idea how to feel about Home. It could be very useful and enjoyable. or it could be really boring and lame. Either way, I think it will be an improvement over the current communal aspect of PSN. The gaming itself is great; I'm able to play online without any lag for free, but the sense of community is lacking.Jared2720

I think home will add alot to the community aspect. It will be a reason for people to stay online longer than they normally would because now u will see ppl online when they arent playing games. This will allow you to meet new people. And from wat i have seen from the home beta, there are free games out there for people to play in the home world, so u can play a simple game of chess or wat not. The way i see it is that, Home can only help PS3, not hurt t because, u r under no obligation to use its features. If you really want, u can just play games online and ignore everything else home offers and its free. So IMO home is all win.

I don't care about how its set out myself its just the lack of proper content coming into it is the sad part, they want to improve there service they need to start giving us more demos, trailers, etc. Content is the main thing.

i see Sony charging soon for online play. There is so much money in it, and both Sony and MS love money. Although I sincerely hope that Home works out well and it sounds like alot of fun. Lots of room to explore with Home.
