the standards for the PS3 is high, if it becomes better than the Xbox360 (in terms of graphics) I will NOT be suprised

look at the xbox, and the gamecube. one year after the PS2's release, the launch titles for the GC and xbox instantly looked better than most of the things on the PS2. nowadays it's different

The ps3 came out a year later, and yet it doesn't look better than the xbox360? why? hell the xbox360 is actually looking better with most multiplats. I know it's catching up, and in the future it will probably surpass the xbox360 by a small margin. but the ps3 should be looking better now, not in the future.

Bad for you.

Bad for Sony.

Bad for Developers.

I fail to see the reason this should convince anyone the PS3 is better than 360.

The Xbox and GC did not come one year later then the PS2 but 21 month later which is ALOT closer to TWO years later. People forget that the PS2 was available in Japan 9 MONTHS before NA gamers got one. So the Xbox and GC were working with two years newer equipment not one.

The PS3 runs on advanced technology.

The hardware certainly isn't slowing its growth, the industry still has to catch up.

However, I agree they released the PS3 too early without enough top-notch titles to support it.

I fail to see the reason this should convince anyone the PS3 is better than 360.

Funny the developers for COD4 for the PS3 version said the development wasnt that hard. The problem is not that its hard, its that it is HARDER then the 360 if your planning to port. But plenty of devs have successfully done it.

How quickly MS fanboys forget their first year of 360 games when the multiplats they shared with the PS2 were underscoring the PS2 version. Did that mean there was something wrong with the hardware of the 360, no of course not, it just means new hardware takes time for devs to get used to. We are already seeing PS3 games being made equal to or better then 360 versions.

but the ps3 should be looking better now, not in the future.

The_Nemacyst

Why is that? If you have a problem with the PS3 not being fully utilized and realizing its full potential, then write to developers and tell them to use the hardware the way it was designed and intended to be used. Tell them to get off their butts and stop whining about hardware when things change and not everybody agrees that PC development methods are the best and most efficient for making games, so they should stop trying to make games PC $tyle (darn censor) and slapping onto the PS3.
