I can hita button on my reciever and listen to whatever I want when I play whatever I want on whatever console i choose.

Apparently firmware 2.0 is the best thing the PS3 has going for it.

yeah but it better if you turn off the music in the game and select music from your ps3! you can have your own music playing and hear the sound effects too!

Most (nearly all) games have options to adjust the FX and music seperately.

i would never want this feature unless it's for a racing game or something similar.

music is just as important to a game as visual design, it sets the mood and adds an extra layer of atmosphere.

That's true, but I would still love to have the option for those racing games and for other games like Skate. I really hope this feature arrives soon.

So true...motorstorm has the worst soundtrack ever in a game. If i were gamespot, i would have given it a 6 just for the soundtrack. And dont give me that "you can just mute the music" BS. I mute the music, but playing a game without music really lowers the quality of the game.

If excite truck has a better sound track, im so getting it :D. Dont get me wrong people, Motorstorm is a great game and all, but its not a complete game. No freaking 2player offline!? WTF is that? Man, they should just held it back a bit longer and added some more....

Excite Truck has custom soundtracks. It can read music from the sd card. Its handy dandy and been there since launch.

EDIT..Also 2 player splitscren, more tracks, more vehicles

really!? oh man, i gotta go buy me :D i hope the price is lower now cuz im broke as hell...freaking $60 per PS3/X360 game :evil:
