first off it's kinda unfair to compare wii and PS3/360 like that. seconldy considering PS3 is only 7-8 million consoles behind and considering PS3 outsold 360 whne 360 had a steller lineup while PS3's was falt 08 could prove a changing of the guard cause now PS3 is getting a great 08 lineup comprable to 360's 07 lineup not only that PSN is getting better along with XMB and home. PS3 won't overtake 360 in 08 but that 7-8 million margin will be greatly reducedRagashahs

I agree with some of this but then if add the fact that the PS3 was released in March of last year in the PAL regions and still was able to outsell the 360 in worldwide totals kinda makes me and many analyst think that the PS3 could surpass the 360 within the next year or year and a half. The Wii may be a fad for now that could drop off once the fad dies in the next year or so, it may not happen but it's very possible.

So you take Gamestops opinion as the end all? See I take more than 1 persons say-so...checking Gamerankings or Gamestats before I buy a game. For a fair call on Game of the Year, you have to average out everybodys picks. Galaxy was a blast, but for Game of the Year 2007, overall it definitely went to Call of Duty 4 by a large margin.

No but in System Wars Gamespot scores are used. I'm not a fan of their inconsistent scores much either but thats just how things go here.

I prefer using IGN reviews who also gave Galaxy GOTY. Gamerankings has it with 97% making it the second most highly rated game ever made. It basically reinvented the platforming genre while CoD4 was great but just another shooter.

To justify one game's quality based on Gamespot's score only should just be more proof that he/she is in the wrong, regardless of what forum your on. GS isnt the end all be all of games.

I think that the PS3 sold a little over 11 million units at end of there first physical year which was in March worldwide where the 360 has sold a total of 18 million units during it's time on the market that's a little over a year more than the PS3 has been on the market. I think that M$ sold around 10 million units in it's first year without any compitition of a new system but has been droping from the time the PS3 and Wii came on the scene. If the 360 was selling like it should it have surpassed the 20 million mark by a huge amout by now with the time it's been on the market'
