Exactly. I don't buy consoles so I can have all these extra features or hardware. I buy a console to play quality games, which is what the PS3 lacks at the moment.

That's cool, all I'm saying is Microsoft didn't do too good a job the first time making the console, they should have given it an extra year to fix everything and possibly improved the hardware. It's nothing the 3 year warranty won't fix, but jeez, it sucks having to wait even a week without your console and have to talk to those stupid reps and customer service.

There is NO debate regarding which is the better hardware. From specs, to reliability, the PS3 CRUSHES the Xbroke 360. But here is the thing. The 360 OWNS all in the games department! Bill Gates or whoever was in charge decided early on to get massive 3rd party support and diversify their game library and they did. They stole a page from the PS2 there. For some, inesplicable reason, Sony decided to focus on hardware instead of software. The result? A $600 megasystem that no one wants to buy, because it costs $600 and has very few great games!

Now, will this all changes one day? Maybe. LBP for one looks awesome. But so does Halo 3 and Fallout 3 and Blue Dragon and Lost Odessey etc.

I for one really, really want a 360, because of its games. I don't give one flying fart about it not having blu-ray, although I would love for it to include wifi. But really the ONLY thing keeping me from buying one today is the hardware failure rate. As soon as I see signs that is ironed out, it will be the first next gen console I buy.

It is standard practice to call the more expensive item the ELITE item, therefore the 360 is Elite in more than name alone + it has games to play which is a must for a games console.
