As a person who played the beata I disargee and actually turn that staement around. I found Halo 3 to be almost unplayable. It lacked any form of sprint making the game feel like a walkfest, the grenade were VERY slow flying thru air, the graphics were almost cartoony, the physics were very poor, death animations were lacking, lagg was present, the particle effects were 2D meshes..
Conversly Resistance I found to be a better game on almost every level granted it's beta vs finla build. But the lighting in Resistance, physics, particle effects, framerate, pace of the game, and even bare bone graphics are better. Trust me I am the FPS master who own every single last freakin one.

These pictures are what you see in each game from a SDTV..on HD the gap widens I know from experience.

You are the man for stepping up and bring that to 360 Halo nuthugers attentions. Resistance that came out in Nov of 06 looks better then Halo 3 in sharpness of detail. Halo series looks cartoonie and comical. What happen to the effect they used in Gears. Why isn't Halo using this, not the graphics engine but the detail scanning stuff. Lair cause it Mesh. Or could Gears only use this because it was in time closed area maps that were never large?
Lots of differences between Halo and Gears. The largest being a different artistic style and a different game engine.
