A good way to think about the PS3 is like any great movie out there. That has a slow start but a amazing finale. Thats how the PS3 will end up. Right now its at a slow start, really nothing going for it but as time goes on it only gets better with time and finally at the peak of its life several years down the road it will go out with a bang like the PS2 did with God Of war 2. Another good example is Rocky Balboa. That movie was GREAT, grant it started kind of slow but the finale and the build and the end was well worth it. Thats how the PS3 will be, has slow start but will have terrific ending!Ahammer80I like how Sony fanboys try to deny that sony won't win the war.
Comparing the PS3 to Rocky Balboa? That makes absolutely no sense >_>
Did Aristotle ever identify this sort of logical fallacy? >_>
Sony is in for a 3rd victory no doubt but Nintendo can snatch it from them, Sony needs to keep their guard up
The Xbox 360 on the other hand, is like a rock. A very hard rock that can smash windows. But soft enough that you can eat it.

How is Sony up for a third victory with both the 360 and Wii outselling the PS3?
If anything, the Wii is looking like it will sell the most consoles at the moment, and the PS3 the least.

IMO Sony is already knocked out.A "GREAT" movie doesn't have a slow start. A great movie hooks you from the first scene and with combinations of astounding cinematography, deep characters, interesting writing, outstanding acting, and if it applies to the film, intense action doesn't let go until the credits roll.
I agree, Playstation 3 sales will pick up but that's a terrible terrible analogy.

i'd put it on the same level as "sunshine of the spotless mind"..!daveg1
So the PS3 can give you amnesia then steal your girlfriend?

Movies don't all do that.. Look at Mr Smith Goes To Washington,or Citizen Kane or Double Indemity, they don't hook you right from the begining, but about 20 minutes into them, your like "WoW this is awesome" and of course the great endings they have.
The X360 is like a Jerry Bruckheimer movie; action packed from the start, lots of explosions and red lights of doom but in the end the heros are victories and everyone is happy. USA! USA! USA!
PS3 is a European movie, the movies story line is good but you keep getting teased that things will get better for the protaginist but in the end, everyone dies and you leave the theater sad and depressed.
The Wii is like a disney movie, sure its childish but still fun to watch.

What information do you have to show that that will change? None.
You can't predict the future, but I can certainally show you how things are today, which is factual information as opposed to ifs and buts.
