Even though I agree with the PS3 not being the "Mercedes of consoles," I disagree with your poor pun.
It may lack the quality German engineering to be considered a Mercedes, but it is still a luxurious piece of machinery that not everyone can afford and enjoy.
It's japaneese so of course it gonna have great hardware, one thing i have to admit is that even at launch very view of the broke unlike 360, it's a well built system with so many features but it's not worth it's price till christmas but i'm still gonna get one soon lol
The playstation 3 is japanese not german so its not the mercedese of consoles its the skyline of consoles and the Xbox 360 is the mustang while the Wii is the toyota.

Great point. However also at launch you had 2 ultra crap tastic games. NBA 07 and Gundam. That's no excuse for a 600$ console. Might as well give those games out for free right now. That's how bad they are..

Yea i agree but it doesn't launch till friday and has nearly 40 games available so it's doing well but still not worth it yet till mgs4,dmc4 and getaway2 or new silent hill
Actually I think Mercedes is a good comparison. Solid product but overpriced, you're paying for tech you don't need and paying a premium for what Mercedes has done in the past.
360 is more like Subaru or Toyota, pound for pound arguably superior to the Mercedes but lacking the general public impression of quality and sex appeal.
Which would make the Wii a Ducati, does less than the sedans but the fun factor in what it does do is out of this world.
