i played the ps3 and i tried a couple of different games. i really dont see why people would pay that much for it. mayb if it dropped 100-200$ then i would have got it instead of my 360. and i read that we will probably have to wait for a while to see a drop in the ps3 prices. thats just my opinion

Just take the word 'yet' on the end of the title. It's not worth the price "yet". Three years from now it will probably be console worth owning. Now i agree the Xbox360 has more games, plays most of the cross platform games better, and costs less. Give the PS3 a few years for more games and perhaps a price drop. The price is too high so the casuals will wait for sure. Ironically serious gamers are not going to be without an Xbox360 because it has the most games and will be getting great exclusives this year.
