[QUOTE="Evilcator"][QUOTE="Javy03"][QUOTE="Evilcator"] When people say this, who else get's baffled like I do?
Yes, they lost DMC4, but it's still going to their system...
They lost GTAIV time exclusives like they did last gen, but the game is still coming out on both systems on the same day... And when that was announced, that wasn't all so surprising considering rockstar is a multyplat compagnie...
I just think it's retarded to say they're losing SO MANY EXVLUSIVES, like omg... when really, they're not... at least not yet.

Its fanboy ranting thats all. The 360 has lost games as well, its not systems losing exclusive but new games either finally being announced onto what platforms it will be on or gaming devs have ambition for more money.
People forget that when the move from PS1 to PS2 happened many games that were huge on the PS1 went multiplatform like..Tomb Raider, Resident Evil (left to Gamecube all together for a while), Spyro, Crash, GTA, and MGS (for a time until poor sales pushed it into exclusivity as well). Every gen. certain get to big to be held on one console and they go multiplat and every gen. there are a new batch of popular top selling games.
Sony loses nothing, they are now sharing support with other consoles thanx to the increase in cost of gaming. This is not gonna hurt Sony in the least. The only way it could hurt is if some of Sonys games went exclusive to other consoles which is not happening.

Great postÂ
I massively hurts the system. When people can play the same game for $120-300 less on a differant system that kills Sony. People need to justify the price. The only way to do that is exclusive games / features. Not having GTA as a timed exclusive is a crushing loss and anyone you doesnt get that is blind. As of right now there really is no reason to get a PS3 until 2008. But what if MGS and/or FF moves over to 360 as well? Again your opinion about no reason to buy a PS3 till 2008 is just that, YOUR OPINION. There are millions of people who have found justifications for purchasing it now, I am one of them and couldnt be happier, I am not gonna say that everyone should get a PS3, that is their opinion and justifications are subjective.
Again, GTAs have been available on both the PS2 and Xbox for a while yet even during the release of the next gen games, gamers have chosen to buy a PS2 over an Xbox. If GTA is so defining and so wanted wouldnt people be buying Xboxs currently instead of PS2s so they can play GTA and Halos. But they didnt, in fact the total attach rate of the PS2 for the highest GTA is 12%. PS2 won because of variety, because it had good games for each genre and plenty to chose from on top of its hardware feature of DVD player.
