its when you use a psp to access your ps3 through the internet or at home basicly making yor psp a ps3p. Everthing is naturally supported but ps3 games which is left up to the developers but all ps1 games as supported

What games can I remotely play if I get a PS3? Thinking of getting one this christmas to complement my 360 and PSP.
I agree, Remote Play kicks anus. I get the feeling most PS3/PSP owners don't even know about this feature, I never hear people talk about it.Floppy_Jim
Could you give me a quick summary of what it is?

It basically allows you to turn on your PS3 using your PSP, providing you have a wifi connection. Apparently it works from anywhere in the world, not sure if that's true or not. You can use it to play videos, music and pictures and certain games stored on your PS3's hard drive on the PSP. Any PS1 games downloaded onto your PS3 are playable along with a few PSN games like Pixeljunk Monsters. Aside from Lair, there aren't any retail PS3 games that support Remote Play. Not yet, anyway. Here's a video which may explain it better-http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SfEpaPw5qkA

You can connect through any WiFi spot in the world, and if you have any PS1 games in the console at the time can play, they don't have to be downloaded on there[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"][QUOTE="Tragic_Kingdom7"]It basically allows you to turn on your PS3 using your PSP, providing you have a wifi connection. I'm pretty sure PS2 games and DVD's aren't though.[QUOTE="Tragic_Kingdom7"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]I agree, Remote Play kicks anus.
