PS3 now has rumble !!!

Well you have to plug this adapter in, and with the new update (1.7) it only works for PS1 and PS2 games.

But the adapter comes out at the begining of May.  So enjoy and click the link below.

I guess you missed the point. The PS3 wasnt able to output rumble , even with a PS2 controller connected through an adapter. Now with firmware 1.7, it has been updated that rumble is now output by the PS3.

but now ive heard they have settled an agreement and so are working on rumble for the ps3...i bet mgs4 wont be released before you see the new pads!

I hope they plan on loosing a lot of money on hardcore gamers, because every cow on SW has said that they turn off the rumble anyway.coreygames

Emersion did not make the rumble for the ps2 pads, Sony made it and infringed the patents that Emersion has on the rumble tecnology.

Emersion did not make the rumble for the ps2 pads, Sony made it and infringed the patents that Emersion has on the rumble tecnology.

Good news for PS3 bad news for cows.

I'm glad Sony heard the gamers who emphasized the importance the of rumble feature, instead of fanboys who think Sony can do no wrong. 

Cows have launched a onslaught against add-ons even going as far to add their price into the overall cost of a console. 

I thought they ditched rumble due to it interfering with the six axis gimmik? or am i just way off the point?metalisticpain

No they just said that, because they didnt want to pay the company who holds the patents.

So to justify it they said pretty much "Rumble is last gen" 

give up wireless for rumble. can't have it all huh?

Yeah adding features to a system is always a drag. Because we all know only one type of person wants the system and only wants to play it one way.
