CNET and GameSpot are sister networks by the way. they're not biased toward any particular system FYI. That's great for news for the PS3. It's almost iminent that it will start selling well. everybody wants a BR player to go with their HDTV and the PS3 happens to be a very good choice for that, not to mention that you could also play some great games on it :)

He said soon enough. A $100 price cut on a obsolete model that is no longer made doesn't really count.

No price cut, I'd refer to it as more of a liquidation, ship all the models (60gb models was it? Can't remember) once they all sell out, stop manufacturing them.

PS3 would be a worthy investment, but the fact of the matter is, none of the heavy hitters have been released, and it is expensive. Fix one of the problems (Even better, how about both?) andthe system will sell, but at this point, it isnt worth it to pay $659 CD for a system that has only a handful of games worth playing.

This means as much as amazon.com sales charts. :| As interesting as this is, one website is not a credible way to show patterns in console performance on a large scale at least.
