I dont know why, but assuming this isnt just trolling im gonna answer the guy as honestly as i can.
At this stage, I cant really see how anybody can make the argument for somebody to buy a 360 over a ps3. By the end of 2008 each consoles game library is equally impressive basically (which throws the old 'no ps3 games' theory out the window),,,
PSN is almost if not already on par with XBL, and its free.
PS3 is a better value for money. Features like charger for controller, wireless internet suppport and blu ray movie support come free with a 360 while you need to spend up to $130 (for charger/wireless support). If these features dont matter, disregard this.
Lastly, and most importantly, if you buy a 360 you will always have the niggling feelin in the back of your mind of when your console will get RROD or some other problem. Sure, theres a 3 year warranty on it, but what about time you lose waitin for new one to be shipped. And what about after 3 years.. youll have a mighty expensive and shiny paperweight to go with all the coasters (games) you have.
In 2006 or 2007 gettin a 360 was probably your best bet, but at this stage its a no brainer what to get.
