PS3 or Wii?

Since I have wii360 and a nice PC and im loving the combo. The wii is a great second console

I have a 360, PS2, Gamecube. I want to upgrade another console cuz i'm getting bored waiting for good games but can't decide if i should go with the PS3 or the Wii. I think my parents would like me to get the Wii and I would too if I can just find a store that has it in stock and then there's the PS3 which price dropped and I can afford it now...your input please?lostechoes

PS3 all the way dude. you 'll thank yourself later. the wii is like the gamcube. its sound like your a hardcore gamer since you have the PS2 & the 360. so yeah PS3 no doubt. also for blueray lots of movies coming out this holiday. winning format-bluray-

Like always, depends on what games that you like. But personally, i'd go with the Wii.

Get a Wii. Why?

1. its 250 dollars instead of 600 which means you can buy more games
2. most PS3 titles are coming to the 360... so Tekken? you can get on your 360. Oblivion? 360. And so many more
3. The Wii is a really nice complement to the PS3/360 because it has a lot of exclusives that you can not get anywhere else. You get to play insanely high budget titles on your 360 but then turn around a play a bit of online co-op in Trauma Center. It really gives you a nice balance when playing games. You don't get too many FPS's or RPG's etc.

And there you go. A reason why PSWii or Wii60 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS360

this says nothing bad about the PS3 and is not bashing it at all fanboys...

inmy own humble opnion I would get a Wii. Plus you already have a 360 which has almost all the same games and more than PS3.

But even if you did not have a 360 after Lair PS3 is just not worth it. The only game worth getting is MGS4 and 600+ dollars are not worth for one game. Wii has more games to play than PS3 and its catching up with 360 which has been out for a year. I dont see how you could choose Ps3 with the above statements in mind but do what you want its your money to spend.

That's not true :P There is more to like about the PS3 than MGS4 now that Lair has flopped. Warhawk has turned out awesome, Heavenly Sword still looks decent, Ratchet and Clank is coming out and so is UT 2007. Plus who knows what other games I haven't bothered to look into.

this is what i was thinking bout when i was in best buy 3 weeks ago i wanted something fun but yet will last me awile i was pretty sure i was gonna get the ps3 but i was looking at the games and the price tag was out rages i no the ps3 comes wit a blue rey but im not buy a gameing system to watch movies im buying it to play games

then i was thinking bout getting a wii i though long and hard bout getting one all the pros and cons then i started compairing the wii to the ps3 the wii i whould have more fun with the ps3 i whould be pissed wasting $600 and the system just sits there wait it has a blue rey so i guss i can watch movies and wait for some games to come out for it

Their is deffinatly not more to play on the wii. Ive played Warhawk for longer than ive played my Wii and ive had it since launch. Plus MGS4 is NOT the only game worth it. Do you people not realise how well Gran Turismos sell? Plus WKS, FFXIII, FFvsXIII, Uncharted,Warhawk, Resistance, Tekken, Haze, Folklore, and more. PS3 is the way to go

I will go with the Wii, and i suggest you buy a Wii, beacause Wii is different form the 360 AND PS3 , not only by its controls(that are really good) but also in the games, because you would play metroid, zelda, Brawl other games that you will miss, and the 360 an ps3 have similar and also games that are for both consoles.

Now im having a tough descicion because i dont know to buy a 360 (wich i will like alot) or wait a little bit to see PS3 growing in all senses.

I own both the PS3 and Wii:

- Here's the thing, I rarely and I mean rarely play my wii... to the point I forget I have one. That being said, I use my ps3 heavily, but wait! Other than the fact warhawk recently came out and I'm playing the crap outta that, before warhawk, my ps3 was nothing more than an uber ps2 (my ps2 is about dead, and thankfully the ps3 has awesome Backwards compatiblity) so I was playing PES 2007 mostly on the ps3.

Unless your ps2 is dying, I see no point in 'upgrading' at the moment, If i were you i would just save the cash. on the other hand you said that your parents would like the wii... I probably can guarantee you that your parents will play the crap outta wii sports if you get the wii. shoot you might wanna get one for THEM for this holiday season....

Half of those are false and even if they are true there is more on Wii still and just because you personally play one game more just shows your a fanboy. Most people play wii more look at sales and feedback.

Its all in Wii's favor so I dont know why you are even talking cause Wii has MP3, SMG, SSBB, No More heroes, MoH 2, Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire, Brothers in Arms Double Time, Rockstar's Table tennis, Manhunt 2, Battalion Wars 2, DBZ 3, RE UC, Soulcaliber Legends, Rygar, Mario Kart Wii, and sadness.

I have a 360 and a wii. i love my 360 but absolutely hate my wii. only reason i keep it is because of SSBB. so unless you want SSBB don't buy a wii.

If you have a 360, get a Wii. You'll get all of the PS3's best games this year, plus it has some exlusives coming this year that are actually worth buying, as well as a few worth renting at least.

PS3...well, it depends on how blinded GS is by Heavenly Sword's graphics as to how high they score that one. Other than that, you have Uncharted and Ratchet, which look like solid AA titles, and everything else will most likely be better on the 360.

How many "casual" games did the PS2 have over its lifetime?

yeah i guess i'll get the PS3 thought i did start playing games through game boy and then to nintendo then i got a PS2...i think I was more entertained with the PS2 so I'll go for the PS3 and hopefully do the samelostechoes

Haze, White Knight Story, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, Uncharted so get a PS3.

If you want to keep waiting and waiting and waiting for something, Anything! to play on the wii then get a wii, unless you really want a dust collector?

PS3 is very similar to Xbox360 (hardware and games), I'd suggest that you buy the Wii.

Pick the PS3 only if you don't like the wii controls.
