PS3 or XBOX 360, I Can't Decide

I'm new to video games (go ahead call me a nube) and i just want to kno which one to get. Can u help me out?

well if you are new to video games, it probably won't even matter which console you get. it's probably better for you to get a 360 because of its lower price tag.

personally i first owned a ps3 and it wasn't enough, i got a 360 after that and it feels quite complete ATM but i couldn't live without my ps3.

conclusion, i need both of them:D

Well my family shares the pc so i'm not really lookin to use it for gaming.

What Sort of Games Are You Interested In?

Will You Use Your Game Console For Anything Else?(Storing Music, Photos, Movie Player)?

Do You Mind Paying A Fee For Online?

Also I Will Throw In There You Will Probably Want To Buy Some Accecories For Either Console.

Xbox 360 Accesories: Play and Charge Kit(To Charge The Controller If you dont want to keep going through batteries)

WiFi Connector: To play online.

The Xbox 360 Pro Comes With a Headset and Compnent Cables(For HD) so you will not need those)

PS3 Accesories: Headset For Online Play. Upcoming Playstation 3 Game Will be bundled with a bluetooth headset or you can buy one in a store for 20-30 bucks.

Compnent/HDMI Cables If you want to play in HD.

The PS3 Controllers(Sixaxis/Dualshock 3) Have rechargeable batteries built in, Built In Wifi and Free Online.

Do you like Platformers? Get a PS3: LBP, Ratchet, and Uncharted are (will be for LBP) great games.

Do you like Shooters? Toss up: both systems have too many shooters, some exciting... most snoretastic.

Do you like RPGs? Get a 360: with a long line of RPGs (Japanese and Western) the 360 will cover your needs for what you want.

Do you like Racers? Toss up: PGR and Forza (360) and GT5: P (PS3) are great realistic racers, but if you're looking for Arcade style racing there's Motorstorm (PS3), GRiD (Multi), and Burnout (Multi)

Do you like Fighters? Toss up: DoA4 (360) has been out for some time, and Tekken 6 (PS3) is set to arrive this year. Regardless, VF5 and Soul Calibur 4 are available to both consoles.

Do you like Rhythm Games? Toss up: They both have the same boring games in this category.

My friend has a 360 and has none of these games (even though he has many games). You need to like them, first... Then, it's worth it.

Anyway, it's up to what you like.

As of now, the xbox beats the PS3 in terms of games, but who knows about the future?

And FF13 along with Versus are coming to the PS3 with Versus being an exclusive as of now. You also have Disgae 3 coming out the 26th which is another RPG PS3 exclusive. Fallout 3 and The Last Remnant along with Oblivion games will also be available on PS3.

And don't forget Valkrye Chronicles which is also a PS3 exclusive.

Both Systems have there exclusives so for games I say buy whatever appeals to you. But no matter what system you get you'll be able to play all the great games such as MK vs. DC, Bionic Commando, Street Fighter 4, Fallout 3, etc. So buy whatever appeals to you more. Also if any of your buddies own a system it would be good to buy that system so you can play online. So yup, hope your happy with your purchase.

you can still get it for 500 dollars with no tax and free shipping...its cheaper than going to the store...

as it will be discontinued and you get ps2 backwards compatibality so you can try some of the great last gen games as well

Actually tc i have both and like both alot, but i find the 360 gets 80% of my gaming time., 10% to pc and the rest to ps3.

But really it matters what kinds of games u like, go to each consoles webpage on gamespot here and look at the games on each console.
