is it fact that one is better than the other .? i like my ps3 lately a bit more but if its better on the 360 id get it on that as its been a while since i played my xbox .

no buy on pc posts as i dont have a capable gaming pc :)

Are you planning to play it online? If so, do your friends want to play it as well? If this is the case, get it for the system which you'll have more friends to join online.

Or if its just single player, then it comes down to preference. I've seen both, and I think the 360 version looks a little better but I did play it entirely through on my PS3 and the framerate and graphics were fine throughout. I would go with whatever controller you prefer. Or hell, if you like getting trophies more than achievments or vice versa. I don't really think there's a superior (console) version.

Your answer is somewhere in this article, but you'll likely have to read it all and make a decision from that. Unfortunately (for decision making purposes), there's no "best" version, since they both do some things better than the other.

From what I've heard they both have aspects that outdo each other and even then the differences will be negligible at best. The only stand out version is the PC one. I say, just flip a coin.

Whichever one you want, graphically they are most likely nearly indistinguishable when actually playing.

Doesn't matter... even if you decide to get the PC version, chose the one that you play more with friends or the controls you prefer.

Get it for whatever system you prefer the controller for; or wether you'd prefer the game to appear on your trophy count or your gamerscore.

I own both the 360 and PC versions, and whilst I prefer to play the game maxed out on PC to be honest there really isn't that much difference between the two unless you actually stop to stare at small details.

I mainly bought the game on 360 is to support crytek for making such an amazing engine work on consoles. At least on my TV the xbox 360 version seems sharper (less muddy and washed out) and closer to the pc version than on ps3, so If I were you I'd go with this version

There's little doubt that the Xbox 360 is the cleaner, crisper experience and for the most part it commands a small
but significant frame-rate advantage and fewer little glitches; especially outside of combat scenarios,
the game just seems to run that much more smoothly

Lens of Truth
Xbox 360: 29 fps
PS3: 26 fps

Graphics xbox 360 - 9.5 (8.5 for PS3)

Nice selective reading there buddy: Lens of Truth: FPS: Xbox 360: 29 fps PS3: 26,5 fps Screen tearing: Xbox: 2% Playstaton: 0% Also DF said that while xbox has slightly higher avarage fps it dips much more when there's stuff going on, so the ps3 frame rate is more stable thus you'll notice the fps drops much more on xbox. And it clearly looks better on the ps3 with texture loading on the, lightning effects missing & leaves missing. Basically Pay for online pick xbox Free online pick ps3

Except that's not true. If anything, the PS3 version plays better overall (an real action-oriented gamer would prefer less framerate dips in firefights). As for looks, the difference is NOT vast or even noticeable for that matter. Only a fanboy would think otherwise.

they look close enough from what I've seen but I'd just go with the Xbox 360 version myself given that I'm more partial to the Xbox 360 controls, the triggers are more propper for shooters IMO than using the L1/R1 which I'm guessing the PS3 version uses because the actual triggers on the DS3 don't feel ever feel right for anything

Um, no where did you hear this. DF said the lighting on the PS3 is slightly off actually. Also the texture thing if reffering to the sleeve is because the PS3 has 0-16X AF(depending on the scene) and the X360 has a constant 4X. What leaves missing lmao.

No one said it but you can see it in the LoT videos by yourself. And I know DF said it's off but if you actually look on the pictures they compare in one the light is off in the ps3 while in the other it's in the 360 lightning is off.

I wasn't talking about the graphics, but the destruction and physics. The game looks good

U don't know if it's scripted or not.

Well, it's still flat and unimpressive.

Only in SW does a "small, but significant advantage" translate to= "my version is better and it's not even close"

i haven't played the PS3 version, but I just picked up the 360 version and I think the performance is pretty weak. The frame dips are very noticeable and the pop-ins are too. If the 360 is the better version I don't know what that says about the PS3 because this game, although very pretty, is very flawed.

Played both, completed both. 360>PS3 by hardly anything graphically. It really doesn't make a lot of difference as the game runs well on either, you can't go wrong.

Anyone who disagrees is trolling and doesn't know what they're talking about/hasn't played both for more than an hour each. The facts are there, the critics views are there and play both versions to see for yourselves.

Show me what's better then. It'll obviously improve alot too since the release is in November.

As some others have said, different sites cant seem to agree on a "better version" thing, so I think it may depend somewhat on the system you have (since small performance differneces are present on all consoles) They perform so closely that most sites are stretching it by picking a "winner"

I would just pick the system that have most friends playing it, or if you are after SP only then buy the version you find that is cheapest (if some store has a sale) it really does not matter... Good sp game tho ^^
