[QUOTE="shinrabanshou"]Because neither Nintendo nor Sony decided to go that route. Because having no controller has inherent limitations. Because it's unnecessary for the type of software that's been shown for any motion control game so far.
The fact that PSEye doesn't do depth mapping doesn't mean that Kinect isn't simply an improved iteration of an old idea.

You can use a controller with Kinect and still have full 3D body mapping
Exactly as you can use a PS3 controller (or Nav) with Move, only in Move case you dont get full 3D body mapping or multiple gamer support
Body mapping is entirely redundant in a game that uses a controller. You're going to stand with a controller and occasionally take your hands off the controller to do some sort of arm action? Pointless and tacked on.The PSEye and Move can map an upper body in 3D, which will likely suffice for most games anyway. Particularly those that are "sitting compatible" because its, you know, sitting compatible and all.
They can both support "multiple gamers."
Except Move can support 4 active players. Kinect can only support 2 active players.
You mean Move does not work then?
Because Move uses the controller instead of Nav if you want

Move cant map the body in 3D, can only map the Move stick in 3D, meaning you will need two sticks to map two hands (as shown in many many move videos) and will still not map your true motion, just the move sticks
Kinect can map your exact motion for the whole body in full 3D and without holding anything, and still can use the controller in one hand for movement
