PS3 owners are you unhappy?

The 360 owners make it out like we have the worst situation ever well here is a positive list of things as I see it:

-weve got blu ray and that has abeen a really great way to spend some of the time ive spent not wanting to play the games we had at the time (planet earth + 300 = amazing lol)

-weve actually got a few games worth playing: motorstorm, RFOM, the darkness, rainbow six vegas, GRAW 2, ninja gaiden, oblivion

- although they may not meet expectations we have a list of other games that look fun comming out and we should except they are not as great as expected but may be great to play none the less: heavenly sword, warhawk, lair, stranglehold, olbivion game of the year edition

- and then weve got the list of exclusives that look amazing that should be here later this year or early next: gran turismo 5 prologue, killzone 2, MGS4, ratchet and clank, UNCHARTED, haze, UT3

so all and all im really not that unhappy and im tired of being made out to look like ive got it bad, the way I see it 600$ well spent even so far.

I bought my PS3 2 months ago, and atm its not worth $500... bad right?

Im very happy with resitance,ninja gaiden, and alot of ps2 games(never owned a ps2).I also cant wait to get warhack,rachet and clank,uncharted,haze,stangle hold(with hard boiled),unreal tournament(with mouse support),heavenly sword,lair(rent),folcklore, and alot more.

I also still need to get motor storm and ridge racers :(

I FORGOT I NEVER OWNED A PS2 ASWELL! ive spent a ton of time running through MGS2 and 3 along with ff10 and 12 along with god of war 1 and 2 and killzone!

yea im not gonna lie the day bioshock came out I was down at a friends beating it with him, the day my friend bought a 360 and gears i was down at his house beating it with him, when halo 3 comes out ill be down at a friends beating it with him.

I live up hill from my friends lol

but I was more interested in the ps3 exclusives thats why I chose it over the 360 and thats why im content to just play RFOM and 360 with friends till the time comes when they are begging to come play at my house lol

who is not happy they bought a ps3 when they see clips for that game my god it looks sweet!

I've owned mine for about a week and i'm quite satisfied so far. The only games I own are Motor Storm and Resistance, and Casino Royale and Black Hawk Down on Blu-ray. I still have so much stuff left to try out, like registering my PSN account and downloading Gran Turismo HD. Next month, I think i'll buy the Oblivion GOTY Edition and 300 on Blu-ray. The rest of this year's lineup should keep me going until the main event: Metal Gear Solid 4. If there's one downside to being a PS3 owner, it's that the shiny console exterior is pretty high maintenance -- dust and fingerprints collect far too quickly.

I'm starting to regret the purchase of my ps3. I liked those games that you mentioned(op) but I don't like playing online in resistance and RSV got pretty boring. So basically, I haven't used my ps2 in two weeks except for watching DVDs. I'll be buying a 360 soon though.DRob69

Finally a reasonable PS3 owner. I doubt Cows who owns only a PS3 will admit they are unhappy. I mean why would you admit you're unhappy when you spent $600 bucks to play games but there's hardly any game exclusives out right now and the multiplats are better on other platforms that cost around or starting at under $300 bucks. I mean the only thing the PS3 have to offer right now is Blu Ray and the potential for the future. One of these days, those PS3 only owners should wake up and realize the other two platforms offer a brilliant library of games and is more fun.

ill admit there are days when im down but the good days where I watch blu rays or play RFOM with my friends out way the bad and that how I see it. And I think to myslef how awesome will it be when ive got a little library of games to play with my friends that will be sweet.

all and all the good outways the bad for me.

I've already played the good games from those systems, when they first came out. I didn't pay 600 bucks to play last gen games or games from 2 generations ago.

And it's not us cows, that need to wake up. Were finally starting to get some good games and you lemmings still deny it. Unreal Tournament 3 (with free mods, maps, etc.) looks incredible. Anyone who spent $XXX to buy a PS3 and doesn't like it doesn't mean the PS3s no good, it just means their a fool, and that they should have done more research on what they were buying.

I'm banking on warhawk to provide me some entertainment till the good stuff gets here in Nov. Thats about all I have to say about it but there should be some fps betas because I need something to play.odin2019

Perfect example right here. You should be unhappy with yourself for spending $XXX on the PS3 rather then the PS3 not giving you what you want. If you'r really into FPS then I would think the logical choice would be to get a Xbox 360 over the PS3 (obviously theirs a ton more FPS on the 360). I researched the PS3 heavily before I decided to spend a lot of money. That's why I am enjoying the games I got and the games that are going to come out in the future.

yea I think people would admit if they didnt like the ps3 becuase they can just return it instead of keeping it...and resitnace,mlb the show,ninja gaiden,and motorstorm are great games that will kee you busy for a while.and you can also enjoy rainbow 6,graw 2,oblivion, and alot more multiplats that are better on ps3.

I've made a list of the upcoming exclusives for PS3 and X360. I see lots of games I want for the PS3 but much less for the X360. Yeah I'm happy I bought a PS3

For me, the best thing to do would've been to buy a X360 at launch, then sell it in August 2007to buy a PS3. (or keep both if I have the money)

im glad to see a lot of people who are satisfied or are going to be satisfied come the release of warhawk or uncharted (those 2 names seem to keep poping up)

im unhappy lol
