PS3 owners - was/is it worth it?

I want honest opinions here. Was the PS3 worth paying 599$ for? Are the games good? Is it wise to wait? I don't wan't any "It liek better thn teh 360 of teh deathzor!!1" I want REAL responses.

I voted : Oh, definately yes!

But.... it all depends if its worth it or not, to the purchaser's tastes....

I love the games thus far, but yes they need more of them and quick.  Blue ray movies = AMAZING and I am very impressed so far with the PSN lag free gaming ( so far )  so overall I am happy with it.

I think that all of the people that voted  for the last one are sheep who are lying and just want to make the PS3 look bad.

No point in making a poll for this, every Hermit/Cow/Sheep fanboy will select the "No it wasnt" option just to make it look bad.... look 7 already lol, how lame.Meu2k7

I can see why people would wait for a price drop and better games though
