PS3 + PC > 360 + PC

I don't think there is a question about that in 2008.

M$ is pushing the "Games for Windows" campaign so much that it can actually hurt the Xbox in the long run.

If the Sony exclusives can deliver what they are promising I think that the combo of PC + PS3 is superior.

You will be able to get a lot of games that are available on the 360 though the PC and also the PS3 games.

Just hope they can deliver what they have been promising for so long.

or you can go onto those online sites where you get coupons for ok computers...like i found one for 500...2gb ram, 64 bit, vista, dvd writer/reader...lol i knw im not a big computer guy so i have no idea what to look for.

hmmm im not sure about that because i would rather have a pc than a wii and a 360. but the pc+ps3 is the best 2 "console" combo you can get. and thats what i have.

Maybe if someone had a high end pc you would know that PC was the best system.

If you have a really fast GPU (Graphics card) and a really slow CPU you will get what is called a bottleneck. Everything has to be generally up to speed. Its like buying a Ferrari with a Honda Civic engine inside.

Yes, but you would also need a new graphics card (unless yours is already good).

as for price of a CPU, hmm I'm in Canada so I dont wanna start rhymning off prices Ill just give you a few examples:

AMD X2 3800+ : 7800GT and below, x1800 and below

AMD X2 6000+: 8800ultra and below, x2900 HD and below

AMD 2800+: 6800GT and below, x800 XT and below

fact: obviously, here at SW, PS3 owners all have high end PCs, and X360 owners have lower end PCs

Personally I like pc + 360, mostly cause I like alot of the 360 only games like dead rising, forza 2, doa 4, pgr4, and halo 3. Then most the pc games I play aren't on 360 (or not how I like them on the 360) Warhammer40k DOW, guild wars. halflife2, and hellgate london.

Most the time I want the game on a specific platform like bioshock for example was a 360 cause I didn't want to mess w/ drm, and could just rent it and buy another game w/ the saved cash. Games like oblivion on the other hand are pc titles because of the heavy mod community.

let it go man, really just let it go, no matter how much we try, people will still say you have to upgrade a PC every 2 weeks and that it costs 10.000 dollars/euros to upgrade one, really it just isnt worth the hassle of explaining people that with the PC you actually have a choice of how strong or weak you want your system to be

See what I said about optimization problems, with consoles, I never have to worry about how strong or weak my system is because its always perfectly optimized and runs at the max FPS and with the highest amount of detail possible.
