Its not April fools...Its been announced for some time...I really wish I could sell my 360 and get one...Free online, true HD/bluray..Reliable parts...Oh well...I will support Sony next gen if not this one.

It's true, I bought one from my friend who has access to them at his best buy.
They have the $299 ones in the back in storage and will destroy all the ones that are $399 that are on shelves now.
The only reason it isn't announced now is that sony gives retailers a few days to destroy all the more expensive ones to make way for the cheaper ones.

Their games division will become bankrupt after this gen. That's why they are focusing on the PS2 ONLY. PS3 just can't cut it.
