PS3 selling better than 360???

This is from AMAZON btw. I know this is just AMAZON. But it is kind of interesting that the 360s just came out and the PS3 slim is already outselling the 360.

I wouldn't read to much into it then. The PS3 is above the Wii on that list. When was the last time the PS3 outsold the Wii? Also, I don't see the slim 360 as something people will rush out to buy in August, I think that september will be when you really notice. Its also an arcade model so I wouldn't expect a huge boost in sales.

The PS3 has A LOT going on for it. The world wide sales keeps it going strong. If this was just NA, then yeah....

Sure the Xbox 360 is outselling the PS3 in the US, but when you consider the Xbox's poor performance in Japan, and PlayStation land(Europe), it's only a matter of time. Just look at how well the PS3 has caught up to the Xbox 360 since it launched, the X360 had a year head start had what like 10 million units sold it's first year on the market? And now the PS3 is only 2+ million of surpassing the Xbox 360.

On Amazon, Slim was beating Wii and 360 all the time until new 360 came out. A few days ago slim started beating them both again. But it doesn't mean much.

mmm all I know is that both consoles are having good WW sales... one is stronger in a market, while the other is stronger in another one...

later on this year might get more interesting with the release of a new Slim 360 SKU (4GB) + Kinect and on the other side the release of Move along the 'probability' of a price-cut for the PS3.. (am sure many would welcome the idea of getting a PS3 with 120GB at lets say $239 :P )

no its not interesting. as a frequent amazon shopper, i notice that the ps3 is always ahead of everything else. its always in the top 10 usually. however, when the sales numbers are released, 360 always kills it. and keep in mind that people actually do go to the store, and the new 360 isnt that hard to find in stores now.
