In one week the PS3 managed to sell 11,000 consoles in the entire country of Japan. Even though the 360 sold less then (Wii sold 70,000) that this is still hilarious because Sony was supposed to dominate Japan and they can only muster a meager percent of the next gen game market. well yea...the Japanese are waiting for the system-sellers to come out. in the East, that means Final Fantasy 13, primarially. MGS4 to a lesser extent.

MS needs a big JRPG like those two and all their spinoff glory, If they could steal those two then PS3 in Japan would be pointless. Then we would see a jump in sales for X360

And here I thought there would finally be some good news for the xbox 360 since it sold less then the ps3 but u still had to go on and rant like the PS3 did worse even with no games out to that japan digs for the ps3, wow what great news, lol.
Chances are, cows will try to make this look like a triumph, like they did with the first week of the European launch, before sales dropped 84%.MegaPigeon
LOL come see me after MGS, Final Fantasy 13, White Knight Story, Kingdom Hearts Next and Tekken 6 comes out and if the PS3 doesnt sell, then u can come say it is a failure. :)

If X360 needs to be successful in Japan, they need more than 10 JRPGs. You have no idea how many RPGs in Japan that is NOT ported to US and Europe. But the problem with the X360 in Japan is mostly because Japanese consumers do not accept it. It's mean but true. Just like Japanese consumers does not accept American cars rather European cars; but that's because US cars do suck both in consumption, durability, value, and even design.

Kingdom Hearts Next hasn't be announced for the PS3 or any system yet. Â
Please with the lack of games coming out it for the ps3, it won't last. Remember there are mnumerous huge games that will sell well for ps3, and doesn't matter whether or not it is on xbox 360. FF13, mgs4, dmc4, hot shot golf 5, afrika, summer holiday 3, beautfiul katamari, Monster Hunter 3, ni-oh, white knight story, folks soul: the lost folklore will all sell much more then 200,000. Some will most likely break a million in japan (ff13,hot shot golf 5, monster hunter 3, white knight story).
